No it wasn't. Anyhow California has high taxes, failing schools, violent cities, deteriorating infrastructure, high poverty rate and 1/3 of its population on Medi-Cal (Medicaid). Hey rest of the USA want some of that?

Motor-voter is what killed California. It was enacted around 1997 (not exactly sure of the year), and California has been hard core Left ever since. It originally allowed anyone applying for a Driver’s License to tick a box that said ‘I am eligible to vote in the USA’. No proof required. And Democrats have pandered to illegals ever since, telling them they can vote, even though it is ostensibly illegal for an illegal to vote. Now, everyone applying and receiving a California Driver’s License is automatically being registered to vote. Is there anyone who will stand for the LAWS anymore??? And back in the mid-1990’s, I offered my DL when I went to vote and was told ‘oh, we don’t check ID’s’. I said ‘you’re kidding, right?’ and that was met with a vacant look.
America HAS learned from California. That’s why she’s listening to Trump.
California has their head so far up their a$$ they couldn’t hear a brass band playing in front of it.
Please be mindful of bashing all Californians and remember that this is the home of Free Republic and Ronald Reagan. There’s hope for us!
California has all but destroyed WA state. Once Boeing leaves, that should do it.
