Blizzards and Bull***t
Found at Ice Age Now ^ | Dec. 30, 2015 | dairycarrie

Posted on 01/04/2016 3:23:32 AM PST by pa_dweller

While here in Wisconsin the storm caused us headaches at our farm by dumping snow, then sleet and then a fine layer of ice, we dealt with everything and moved on. Goliath was barely a blip on our radar.

However, the farmers and ranchers in New Mexico, West Texas and the Oklahoma Panhandle ended up with far more than a blip on their radar. Goliath pummeled the area and now early estimates are saying that up to 20,000 cows and calves are dead. Just like Winter Storm Atlas, this story isn’t making the news and most of the people in our country will never know the story behind what will one day be known as the Blizzard of 2015.

Those cows are flatulent. They are part of the global warming problem. They deserve to die! They are also meat and man must give up meat! Long live the revolution, comrade.

Got to keep those beef prices up.

Let ‘em freeze, get some federal disaster money, and everyone wins but the consumers and taxpayers.

because they farms differently than they do.

The proofreaders must not have been able to make it to work through the storm.

Don’t you know by now? In order to be a blizzard and be named, it has to occur in a Northeast city. Even if it’s only a few inches of slush. If it doesn’t happen in NYC, Philly, D.C. or Boston, it’s not worth mentioning.

Blizzards are caused by Globull Warming. As are Droughts, Rainstorms, Floods, Snow, Lack of Snow, Cold, Heat, Wind, Humidity, Tornadoes, Earthquakes, Volcanoes, Too-Darkness, Too-Lightness, Famine, Pestilence, War, Road Rage, Racism, Sexism, Homophobia, Terrorism, Islamophobia, Lactose Intolerance, and the Heartbreak of Psoriasis. The cure for all these things is giving Communists all the money. It’s Incontrovertible. And any Deniers must be removed from Society.

I was in El Paso for the holidays visiting my folks and my kids. My son said it best “I flew out of Chicago in 60 degree weather to shovel snow in El Paso? This is nuts!”

Since my folks place is on the western side of the mountains we got at least a foot of snow.

My son and I spent about an hour shoveling very wet, heavy snow of my folks drive and walk ways.

Got to keep those beef prices up. Let'em freeze, get some federal disaster money, and everyone wins but the consumers and taxpayers.

from the article:

One of Steve's sons lives 1/2 mile from the dairy, after doing everything he could do, he headed home to rest at 1:30am. However his truck was snowed in and the roads were impassible so he called home and had his wife pull their Jeep around the house and flash the lights so he could walk the 1/2 mile in the blizzard without getting lost. Steve's family's cows went without feed for 36 hours because the snow had made it impossible to mix and deliver the feed to them.

Yep, I'm sure that's what this man was planning as he left his vehicle to walk through a blizzard.

we had older people stuck in their houses until the Wednesday after the blizzard, there was just no way to get out with drifts 7-8ft high, we couldn’t get to a tractor, it was just a nightmare ....we had more snow in the 2013 blizzard, but that was a one day event and then the sun came out and it melted quickly....in this one the wind was blowing in the 50s for 3 days straight then it didn’t warm up when the wind stopped, we just aren’t equipped to deal with that in this part of TX ...

Not a problem! I should have made clear that that was the title. The artist is Chuck DeHaan.
