Great post and that is exactly what is happening
You really think someone who is a really top lawyer has more knowledge of economics than someone who graduated with flying colors from the Wharton School of Economics and built a 10 Billion dollar worldwide empire?
You really want to make that claim and have any credibility whatsoever?
Islam worships Islam itself...obedience to “it” is central. Same with Hitler's ideology....obedience to Nazism. Imo both are under the control of the enemy of men's souls.
Sorry, that is most likely over a $100 Billion dollar empire it is just his net worth is $10 Billion. The total value of the Trump empire has to be astronomical. I think he understands economics.
Just do not understand how FReepers think tearing down Trump or his followers is ever going to do anything but make Trump voters more ingrained as you take the same talking points as Hillary, Obama and the establishment.
I love Cruz, but he cannot change opinions like we need now.
“Wharton School of Economics and built a 10 Billion dollar worldwide empire?”
I am a Milton Freedman type of Economics person. The Trumpster did indeed do well at Wharton as well as build his real estate empire. As the Trumpster has already stated, He contributed to various politicians so that when he called and needed something the politicians would pick up the phone and talk to him.
I do not think that the Supreme courts KELO decision that the Trumpster supports is constitutional. But than I do not have or purchase as much real estate as the Trumpster.
Now to a comment you made a little while back

âAs much as I love Cruz, I still canât get over the fact that his wife was a bigwig at Goldman Sachs. What is she doing there of all places?â
There nothing wrong with someone in the family making Big money. Also it is good to make it while you are young so you can enjoy what this world has to offer
Do not forget the Donald gave money to many Democrats (a.k.a.) Communists

If you have issues with Ted Cruz’s wife making money - Why do you not have issues with the Trumpster making money?
And finally - A little bit about Limited G’ment and ECONOMICS
A memo written by Cruz and his deputy, Jerry Ellig, shortly before his departure to Texas
included a chart of the officeâs projects, his calculation of how successful each project had been,
an estimate of the probability that decision-makers listened to the FTC,
and an estimate of the probability of the same outcome without any advocacy or action from the FTC.
(Cruz and Ellig concluded the FTC had influenced the outcome in eleven of the 14 projects that were not pending.)
Initially, Cruz proposed an ambitious agenda that featured efforts
to roll back regulations on teacher certification, hospital accreditation,
and local governmentsâ agreements with cable television.
Cruz and the other FTC staff successfully defeated changes aimed at
allowing competing physicians in Alaska and Washington
to engage in collective bargaining with health plans
over fees and other contract terms, arguing that the proposals
would increase health-care costs and reduce access to care,
without ensuring better outcomes for patients.

Trump doesn’t need any economic help. What he will need it constitutional and congressional help. Cruz is certainly qualified to keep Trump’s tail out of the fire. Together, they would make a strong formidable team.
Ditto regarding a viable Trump/Cruz team. Might be hard working for the Donald however.
Of course debating economics at the SC is far more valuable than real world experience. No wonder you look down at us Trump supporters.
What you don’t get is arguing the Constitution is a big yawn to most voters. It may get your juices flowing, but most people’s eyes glaze over on that and budget debates.
Ja, aber Herr, nicht der Mensch oder mann.
Danke, danke!
Ich werde die ganze Woche hier sein.
Probieren Sie das Kalb! Es ist um zu sterben!
I have a small business and have worked with many CEOs. Any successful CEO considers his word as his bond and always makes decisions based on the well being of the company as a whole.
This us why I am for Trump. America needs the CEO approach to problems not domesticity talking lawyer or politician.
Yes I watched the entire Miss rally on line yesterday was very good, and I caught Chris Matthews, in one segment... he said Trump will just say that,,, well they are only talking about me because Hillary suggested it
For sure Trump can add.... yep I am the last person ISIS wants as President, so lots of ways to handle it
“What you donât get is arguing the Constitution is a big yawn to most voters.”
One of the biggest problems most people on this site have is the Monumental Hubris and interference with the constitution by the Supreme Court.
And I do not see the Trumpster appointing the likes of a Scalia. I do see the Trumpster appointing people the likes of the Pirate Roberts or worse, The Trumpsters’ sister - a staunch commie
And let us not forget the mixed to miserable record of all of the Republican presidents, Reagan included.
Another great post tearing down TRUMP is like shooting yourself in the foot
Sorry damn Cruise’s wife is one of the architects of the trade bill that’s screwing the country left and right.
better dig into things a little bit more bud.
Hey bud how are you doing
Sorry, the Hillary nom de plume threw me. Guiness?
Donald attended the Wharton School. He is i.e. not a Graduate. They mad him an Honorary Doctorate.
Just Sayin.
Thanks, Laz! Great to read it again. One of the best essays ever posted on FR!
