lol - what a bowl season +1
Our my all-time favorite, The Poulan Weed-Eater Bowl.
ASU and TCU is was good. 43 to 42 TCU win.
ASU and TCU was good. 43 to 42 TCU win.
I am off. The game was Arizona State and West Virginia. 43 to 42 West Virginia win.
did the rules make TCU go for 2?

Yes. Third OT requires going for 2 points after a TD.
When motel 6 sponsors a bowl game ever ( Cactus bowl)

Turns out that that bowl game was just as exciting as the TCU game. WV won over Arizona St. 43-42!
Those two games were the best of this bowl season.
As others here have indicated, the new method of pairing teams really sucks. The old system used for bowl games and determining the national champion team was much better, as it allowed the various bowl committees to pick the teams that people would most want to see.
WGAS about seeing ND in a bowl game, when NBC shows all of their games? (That’s just a personal dislike, as I can’t stand the constant liberal lobbying for ND)
I almost hit the channel button at halftime to watch a movie with wife.
Glad I didn’t as my son-in-law went to TCU
“BEST game ever. Gotta love TCU.”
You know what was special about it my wife said?
TCU proved they did not need the thug QB Boykin in order to win.
That is even better than the comeback.
Sports need genuine heros that one can respect.
What a great game. Congrats to both teams.
I had no idea
Felt sorry for the guys - playing that long. I’ve followed TCU from time to time. We only got the game on radio but it was exciting anyway.
Well, I did. Watched a movie that wasn’t even good! When I checked back, they were celebrating on the field.
“Way to go TCU....the #1 QB was suspended, #2 was injured, briefly, but came back to kick some A against Oregon!!”
I was getting a little tired at hearing the announcers saying that the reason Oregon wasn’t doing well in the second half is because they lost their starting quarterback. As if TCU didn’t.
Oregon also lost their starting center, a big factor in the offensive struggles in the second half.
