Why not elect 400 dems? That would be awesome.

I supported folks staying home the last time McConnell ran.

I'll support the same if Ryan is the nominee.

WAY too soon for this type of talk.

How about finding a real competitor?

How about ask Trump to help find someone? I know he’s probably angrier than you are Cotton.

Just don’t go all defeatist so soon.

He might be the Democrat nominee. In that case, vote for the Republican.

Conservatives in Paul Ryan's district: if he makes it through a primary, VOTE FOR THE DEMOCRAT

And this is how you triumph in politics. You make them understand that not supporting your positions is suicide.

If you don't chop off some heads, they will not take you seriously when you need them too.

We should have voted Democrat in Mississippi Senate Race, (Thad Cochran) and we should have voted Democrat in the Kentucky Senate Race. (Mitch McConnell)

We are now dealing with an emboldened Rino faction of the party, instead of a cowering and compliant Rino faction.

I would vote for anyone but Ryan if he was my representative. After pulling a stunt like he just pulled it’s time send him home.

"VOTE FOR THE DEMOCRAT"

That has to be the dumbest, most shortsighted, inane thing I have ever seen on a Free Republic title in my 16 year history reading it.

Backbencher Dem vs backstabbing rino speaker. Which would you prefer? We’re not talking about electing 400 Dims here, just one traitor to extinguish. This would force GOP-ers to look over their shoulder and pay attention to the base.

There are all sorts of examples where more can be accomplished with a relatively few committed individuals vs a bevy of vacillating placeholders. Right now, the Dems are in the minority in both Houses and they got their budget through courtesy of rino Ryan.

Really stupid discussion and ideas.

I doubt his constituents will punish the guy that was asked to fun for VP, asked to serve as Speaker, and was reelected in 2014 with 63% of the vote.
