It is racist to hold “minorities” to the same standards as everyone else.

But not racist to ascribe a certain odious tendency to an entire people who share a particular skin tone.

Maybe the answer to racist jerks like this writer is to stop referring to people as simply "white" as if polish, russian, libyan, ainu, italian, greek, icelandic, etc etc etc are a monolithic group marching in lockstep on issues of race.
