Maybe the answer to racist jerks like this writer is to stop referring to people as simply "white" as if polish, russian, libyan, ainu, italian, greek, icelandic, etc etc etc are a monolithic group marching in lockstep on issues of race.

Problem with these articles is that they want to talk about ending racism, but assign blame to all folks of the same color, that does not help and it is wrong, black or white.
