Federal prosecutors have decided not to press criminal charges against two former executives at the Department of Veterans Affairs who were accused of manipulating the agency's hiring system for their own gain.
The U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia said Thursday it has declined a referral from the VA inspector general for criminal prosecution of Diana Rubens and Kimberly Graves.
The inspector general said in a report this fall that Rubens and Graves forced lower-ranking regional managers to accept job transfers against their will. Rubens and Graves then stepped into the vacant positions themselves, keeping their pay while reducing their responsibilities.

And check this out...last paragraph, laughable but so sadly true about the VA losing records. Not only trashed so workers don't have so much to do or cover-up for delays, but lost so there is no repercussions.
If the VA were a mcdonalds they would be closed by the board of health.
"Rubens and Graves were demoted in November, but their demotions were rescinded this month after a paperwork mix-up. The VA has said it will reissue the demotions after the problem is resolved."
is = are no repercussions. So excited about not having to fix all the quotes before posting...
Maybe the next DOJ will prosecute these people, they are certainly in need of it; not to mention most of this crooked corrupt administration.
Cool...I should get a government job, from which I cannot be fired, and srart robbing banks...what’s the downside?
Sure.
Once the end of the year bonus checks have cleared.
Under the Obama administration this is acceptable behavior.
Let’s review: two government employees, probably union, at the VA, both female so they’re probably also lesbians.
These are protected groups all around...
Being a Washington Bureaucrat means never having to say you’re sorry.

Presidenet Trump is going to have to set up a special division within the Justice Department to prosecute all the crooks from the Obama Administration. And likely he will have to build some new prisons to house them. That will be money well spent.
The VA botched a chance to clean up its act when it demoted two senior executives but didnât fire them nor try to recover nearly $400,000 in relocation bonuses investigators say they didnât deserve because they orchestrated sweetheart transfers to new posts, a top House lawmaker said Tuesday.
Agreed!
Disgusting.
Let’s all recite the VA Executive Motto!
“Delete, Delay, Deny And Wait For Them To Die To Make Our Bonuses Go High! High! High!”
The purpose of the VA is not to help Veterans.
The purpose of the VA is to help their employees and the Democrat Party.

Truer words have never been written IMHO.
It has been obvious to me for quite a while that the only professions that are ever prosecuted for malfeasance are law enforcement and medicine. Lawyers and bureaucrats? No way.
I’ve been trying to think of how to go about doing that. The congressional committees have no power. The FBI works for the executive branch as does the DOJ. Let’s face it money and power corrupt unless your name is Moses or Elijah.

Barky wants to leave EVERYTHING to the next guy.
When jarrett said this term would be the one, I knew we would be in trouble. I don’t think it’s leaving it for the next one, it’s more like crack and fissure, lay the explosives so that in the final year it begins to crumble and like the Towers, implode in 2017.
