As we turn to look toward the new year quickly approaching, may we be certain of Your faithfulness, for You will surely supply all our need in 2016 according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. What a blessing it is to know with all certainty that You go forth with us into each new day, each new year of our lives. And we have the assurance that You will be the same during the coming year as You have been all our days---ever faithful, ever loving, ever merciful, and always wise. Thank You, Father, that in this world of uncertainty, You are the One Constant Who does not waiver, change, or fade.
Lord, we ask Your special blessings for our men and women in uniform who are defending our nation during these holidays. Many are away from home and are experiencing loneliness and less than ideal living conditions. We ask You to give them courage and the desire to draw close to You for strength, for You will surely provide. Help them to make this new year a time of deepening their relationship with You.
Bless Your people Israel with peace, prosperity, protection, and the good news of the Gospel. Please send forth Your laborers for the harvest of souls, Father. We ask these blessings for our beloved America as well, Lord, that 2016 would be a year of great revival and renewed hope for this nation.
Thank You, Father, for sending Your Precious Son to us. As we begin putting away the decorations and packages from our Christmas celebrations, help us to be reminded of Your love for us----the love that came down on Christmas Day. We are grateful, Lord, for so great a Gift. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.
