I am RC. And I deplore prosthelytizing by any religion. My ultimate hatred of prosthelytizing is, of course, directed at the Muzzies who will decapitate you for failure to buy their halal baloney. And this will most likely end in a 21st century Crusade (and soon I hope).
I am a traditionalist Catholic. While I am not comfortable with forcing my religion on others, Jesus instructed his disciples to become fishermen and bring the Good News of his coming to ALL OF the world. I try doing that by example and instruction, when questioned, by openly practicing my Faith..daily prayer, grace before meals (Wherever I am), we are not called to hide our lights under baskets, but to let them shine for all the world to see. If you call this proselytizing...call me guilty.
If you'd like to be on or off, please FR mail me.

Don't know what to tell ya. Jesus commands it.
So you basically hate all of Jesus’s apostles? since they spent their whole lives proselytizing.
So you think Matthew 28:19 should be stricken from the Bible. The part about going and making disciples of all nations. I used to be Catholic and know that Catholics like to keep it a personal religion. It’s much easier for them that way. The only think that keeps the Catholic Church maintaining its numbers is that 99% of Catholics are born into the religion.
You're not RC, you're just PC.
How do you address Jesus’s command in Matthew 28:19-20, the disciples’ words in Acts 4:18-20, and Paul’s various missionary journeys?
What do you think Proselytize means?
If there is no proselytizing, then lets face it there should be no Catholics or Christians. Where do you think the first ones came from?
Preaching Christ to a non-Christian is not proselytizing, is it? Regardless of the person’s religion. (And I do not consider Christianity to be a religion.)
