Every once in a great while there are shifts in American politics. The last on was the shift from Rockefeller Republicans to Reagan Republicans.

They wouldn't threaten to start a third party if Cruz was the front runner and there was no Trump, because although they don't like him, Cruz has been granted club membership - begrudgingly. They will at least tolerate him.

Great, is this the beginning of the take over of the Republican party by Conservatives? This is what the Republican party has been needing. The Gopeers can become democrats and or form a turd party. I hope this rapidly spreads to Mississippi and haley barbour and his minions can join with kristol. We could end up with a Conservative Republican party and the term Conservative would be more than a meaningless, obligatory campaign slogan.
Kristol hates America and loves the $'s he and his fellow beltway pundits make while playing like they are conservatives.
Now they can officially join the democratic party, which is who they always voted for anyway.
