On Monday, Weekly Standard editor-in-chief Bill Kristol tweeted out what the rest of the Republican establishment is thinking: better Hillary than Donald. Here’s the tweet:

Kristol isn’t alone. As I wrote at Daily Wire today, Politico’s Jeff Greenfield says, “If the operatives I talked with are right, Trump running as a Republican could well face a third-party run – from the Republicans themselves.†That follows last Thursday’s Politico column from former New Jersey governor Christine Todd Whitman, who compared Trump to Hitler and called him “evil,†and last Wednesday’s Politico column reporting that Jeb Bush’s aides “began looking into the possibility of making a clear break with Trump – potentially with the candidate stating that, if Trump were the nominee, Bush would not support him.â€

First of all, everyone of them lied.
Second, the reporters should be asking the other candidates if they’d support Trump.
Third, Trump should be showing this to everyone.
Fourth, lots of us have wanted to start a third party. Now it looks like the crying little rino babies are going to have start their own third party. That’s rich!

I’m with you, Norm. I have just as much disdain for those who voted for the lessor of two evils as I do those who voted for the more of two evils. Unless they admit they were wrong. Like I did. ‘Cause I did it a few times, too.
Trump has the GOPe painted into a corner, and Kristol and the rest of his bunch have finally gotten the message.
Cruz is still my first choice, while Trump is #2...and there is no #3.

I stopped using FB for that reason. But I was saying what I think and it was the liberals family members who attacked me. Now we no longer speak to each other.
Graham signaled his party’s plans when he dropped out. He said “My wing of the party no longer exists.” Not an exact quote. I believe he’s saying “the party left me” trying to be a Reagan.
Kristol hates America and loves the $'s he and his fellow beltway pundits make while playing like they are conservatives.
I voted for mcCain to get Palin. It was a mistake. And I regret it daily.
We all make them. But after all these years, people determined to repeat them want this country destroyed. There is no excuse for electing people intentionally that tell you to your virtual face they will work with the enemy or those that will work with ‘them;. IE GOP leadership and their ‘lesser evils’ in congress.
Did you tell all this to Portman to his face?
Maybe this is all a ruse to get Trump supporters to panic and, once again, vote for “the lessor of two evils”. Mainly Bush. It won’t work this time, Rove.

Brilliant plan. There’s no reason for them to leave home. What would they say about it? “It would be too easy to manipulate votes. Uh-oh!”
Now they can officially join the democratic party, which is who they always voted for anyway.
They’ll have no problem backing Hillary. It’ll be 8 more years of the Uniparty.
Trump has exposed a lot. I had no idea Fox was completely Uniparty until Trump came along.
