In the weeks since Donald Trump ignited a firestorm by claiming "thousands and thousands" of Muslims in Jersey City cheered the fall of the twin towers on 9/11, elected officials, religious leaders and a former state attorney general denied the existence of celebrations in the city that day...
But in a new examination by NJ Advance Media, a police officer who worked on 9/11 and residents on the outskirts of Journal Square say they witnessed small pockets of people celebrating before the groups dispersed or were broken up by authorities....
Collectively, the gatherings amounted to dozens of people at the two locations, the witnesses said. Callers also flooded the 911 system with accounts of jubilant Muslims on a rooftop at a third location, three police officers said....
A retired police captain, Peter Gallagher, said he cleared a rooftop celebration of 20 to 30 people at 6 Tonnele Ave., a four-story apartment building with an unobstructed view of Lower Manhattan, in the hours after the second tower fell.
"Some men were dancing, some held kids on their shoulders," said Gallagher, then a sergeant. "The women were shouting in Arabic and keening in the high-pitched wail of Arabic fashion. They were told to go back to their apartments since a crowd of non-Muslims was gathering on the sidewalk below and we feared for their safety."
Three additional officers who remain on the Jersey City force said they witnessed small groups of Muslim celebrants on Sept. 11, but they would not speak for attribution, citing a department policy that prohibits media interviews.
The officers, including a high-ranking official, said their reluctance to speak publicly also stemmed from concern they would run afoul of Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop, who has repeatedly said celebrations did not take place....

And my govt wants me to believe there was not celebrations on 9/11, I may be a product of public schools but I am not stupid or delusional.

Trump brings things out, things that the ‘wall street’ media wants us to believe differently, that’s why he isn’t popular with a lot of people, he’s telling us things they don’t want us to know about...and he can find the proof of what he says to back it up...

Trump is a master at the Dan Ratherism, fake but accurate.
Of course some Muslims in America celebrated. and if you added all of the numbers up from across America, it is easy to see that it would add up to thousands of people.
Just not all at the same place and the same time as Trump claimed.
So...I should give the same low level of credibility to what Trump says that I give to what Rather says?
I saw the celebrations on TV also ... just because no one can find the film now does not mean it did not happen. There are lots of films that are only shown once and then disappear - plausible deniability and all - like the brief cellphone video of the three tall males shooting in San Bernardino ... NASA routinely has erased Apollo film to make room for something else. Happens all the time.

Trumps comment was hyperbolic nonsense and this has been obvious from the day he said it. But it's just not that important. It's about a month since the time to move on has passed.
Millions of people were running their VCRs that day. If that video ever aired somebody would have a copy and could sell it to Trump for millions. That hasn’t happened because such a video never existed.
OK whatever you say ... millions of vcrs can’t be wrong. BTW when was the last time you went through your vast collection of vcr tapes looking for a particular clip from 15 years ago? Assuming you or any one still has working vcr to play it and assuming that those 15 year old tapes aren’t in a landfill ...
