Donald Trump, the national front-runner, keeps his big lead in two of the three early states of New Hampshire and South Carolina, but now Texas Sen. Ted Cruz has moved past Trump into a lead of his own in Iowa.
Florida Sen. Marco Rubio remains in double digits in New Hampshire and South Carolina, and Governor Chris Christie has now shown upward movement in New Hampshire, doubling his support there in the last month.
The backdrop to all this is a mood of anxiety - both economic and personal security - pervading the GOP electorate in these early states. Nine in ten in all states feel the country is now a more dangerous and insecure place, including 95 percent of Iowa GOP voters who say that, and nine in ten feel the nation's economic system is one that hurts them instead of benefits them. Terrorism and national security are now specifically front-and-center on primary voters' minds: in Iowa, 61 percent say it is their top decision-making criteria for candidates, ahead of the economy; in New Hampshire, 66 percent cite terrorism and security ahead of 28 percent on the economy.

Quoting the unhinged Beck lost you any credibility, sorry!
the new president can enforce existing laws as he sees fit. however to go beyond existing law with respect to the illegals, he must deal with congress.
As I see it in the future, there will by the strictest definition be amnesty. To pass, the congress will make some accommodation, we do not know what.
A conservative congress is necessary to make the best possible accommodation that the president will accept.
All true. But I don’t see Congress changing and becoming uncorrupt so this may all be a moot point ;(
I do think Trump will be the best at trying to get his plans passed, since he’s a born negotiator from a position of strength. He’s better at drawing people to his side, even with ‘controversial’ issues than Cruz, who tends to push people away (judging from his Senate accomplishment).
The country is likely toast anyway, so be prepared!

I have been taking the top four polls each week and averaging them. Here are this week's polls:
And here is what the trend lines look like by candidate over the entire time:
Those number speak for themselves.
I then compare my averages and trend lines to Real Clear Politics who also does averaging of the major polls...but they use more. Here's how their numbers look:
Tracking very close.
Trump continues to rise...but Cruz is rising too. In my averages, the two of them now have just under 51% of the polling. Real Clear Politics has them even higher at 51.6%.
Carson has dropped off to 9%, Rubio is around 10%. This means the top four are polling 70% of the polling data now.
Everyone else is polling at 4.5% or less.
Right now it is a two man horse race, with Trump well out in front, but Cruz continuing to rise.
IMHO, they should only allow the top four on the main stage in the future debates.
You’re sure he’s not just “100% for Trump” in the primary?
He's a good man, but 2012 was his only shot. Cruz, Trump and others have much in common with his agenda now and are drawing more support.
