Trump Brushes Off Putinâs Alleged Killing Of Journalists

Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump brushed off well-documented allegations that Russian President Vladimir Putin has had political opponents and journalists killed, following praise from the Russian leader for his presidential campaign.
In an interview with âMorning Joeâ Friday, Trump said he was pleased to be praised by Putin. âSure, when people call you brilliant itâs always good, especially when the person heads up Russia,â he said.â Putin had called Trump âbright and talentedâ and all-but-endorsed his campaign this week.
But when host Joe Scarborough raised doubts about whether Putinâs support should be coveted, Trump brushed it off.
âHe also is a person that kills journalists, political opponents and invades countries. Obviously that would be a concern, would it not,â Scarborough asked.

A 28 year old female intern was found dead in Joe Scarborough's office under highly suspicious circumstances. Can we imply Joe killed her then if we imply every journalist killed in Russia was under Putin's order?
The hell with the main stream GOP media hacks. Trump 2016
Putin aside — there have been a couple mysterious deaths of American journalists during the years of the Obama regime.
"Those are not Russian troops in Ukraine."All in the space of a few short weeks.
"You can't prove those are Russian troops."
"C'mon, everyone knew those were Russian troops."
I think you’re kidding yourself on the “alleged” bit.
But Trump straight out said “Yes, I’d condemn that” re: the killing of journalists. So once again, the press is reporting selectively to try to make news.
Those are just rumors started by people who don’t like Obama’s regime in the first place.
LOL - Reminds me of an anti-Trump troll who seeks to undermine his campaign with neocon BS.
And it comes from the mouth of Morning Joe....why even bother to respond at all?
Somebody please tell John Hinckley that Rachel Madow is humping Jodi Foster.
I’m voting for Trump if he gets the nod, comrade.
I think youâre kidding yourself on the âallegedâ bit. - and there is evidence Putin killed those journalists where? That’s like people stating that football star who joined the military was killed by Bush because he was anti-war. That is BS also and had the same lines of non-evidence.
The Clintons killed journalists. Does that count? And Obama has probably killed journalists, too.
Then prepare to like his Russia / Putin policy.
Um, you’d think that Time would be more interested in a candidate that was directly responsible for Americnas being killed in Libya ...
What's the issue?
The ones that are gone weren't real journalists anyway.
Sarcasm aside, this has been going on in every country of the world...ever since the written word was invented.
The President of the United States of America called a bunch of Murderous ISIS Terrorists that he and his SOS created “The J.V. Team”.
He also said they were “contained”. That was 150 Dead Innocents ago.
I’ll spend my time thinking about that, not this Tempest in a Teapot and I’m a Cruz Guy.
I’ll deal with it. I won’t get an erection, though. That’s something I’ll leave for the men who support Putin.
Honestly, unless Trump has inside knowledge the way many connected billionaire do - there is no proof the Clinton’s murdered anyone either. But it seems that way. I will add, we have freedom of the press and it can do damage. Russia’s press freedoms are not the elaborate and independent reporting would do limited damage. Many cases of journalist deaths came over reporting on crime figures. This is why many journalists fear for their lives in Mexico reporting on the cartels there. That is a more realistic reason that a journalist would be killed in Russia rather than any expose they would write on Putin.
and invades countries. Ol’ Joe never brought up the countries INVADED by Obama (Libya, Syria) or Clinton (Serbia).
