Donald Trump, a candidate even Republicans once considered a side show, increases his lead yet again in the nomination race, according to the latest Fox News national poll.
The poll also finds Ted Cruz ticking up, Marco Rubio slipping, and Ben Carson dropping.
Trump hits a high of 39 percent among Republican primary voters, up from 28 percent a month ago. The increase comes mainly from men, white evangelical Christians, and voters without a college degree -- and at the expense of Carson. ...
The favorites among white evangelical Christians are Trump (39 percent), Cruz (26 percent) and Carson (12 percent). Since last month, Trump is up 14 points among this group, Cruz is up 8 and Carson is down 12.

LOL! Isn’t that the truth!
She is into psy-ops this cycle. Trying actually to come off as having “no horns”, she says to TRUMP supporters.
She is going curiously light on TRUMP, making TRUMP take over as the big meanie, while she concentrates on pushing, decadence, gays kissing in her ads, wearing a hijab, etc.
Something peculiar seems to be up, with her.
Nobody is worried, or even “concerned” by your double postings of the same thing. It’s just that you post the same inane thing to all of these national poll threads. And, IF Cruz’s numbers were what Trump’s is, you would be posting something completely different and you know that that is true.
I noticed that as well.
Why are you so stuck on playing defense?
Have you already forgotten eight years ago, when at about this same time (I think, I may be wrong), the battle cry was "Anybody but Hillary!" We got our wish. We got Obama.
Stay focused on conservatives, Republicans, leaders for our side. For all you know, Bernie Sanders will be the nominee. Playing defense, thinking defensive strategy, is a bad play right now.
Time for OFFENSE. Advance conservatism. A guy with a 26-year-history of party-switching and lefty-"moderate" politics and a celebrity "personal brand" he himself values in the multi $billions ... or a man young enough to be his son whose entire adult life has been dedicated to the law and the Constitution? And the concept of limited government?
You can keep the sincere old blowhard money-maker who likes government and gages value by dollars. I'll take the sincere younger guy who likes the Constitution and gages value by liberty. That would be Ted Cruz.
You’re wrong about that, too.
I know for a fact, that Jim likes both Trump and Cruz.
Who wouldn’t?
The GOP is dead to us (or should be after today’s ultimate betrayal).
The only two worthy candidates are Mr. Trump and Senator Cruz.
I will be very happy with either.
If telling somebody to “shove it” is civil in your mind, you must be some peice of work.
Interesting. Please, check upthread at 61. I was just saying....
I don’t trust those Clinton vs. Trump polls - they’re just another way for the media to try and sour us on our own candidate. Didn’t one of them say that Rubio, of all people, would beat her - where Trump and Cruz wouldn’t? Just nonsense.
PECULIAR-—PERFECT DESCRIPTION-—of Hillary.
All I know I had made up my mind long time ago and nothing will change it. My family is voting for Trump and so as my parents, sister and family. No article or news will change my mind.
Trump in Davenport, Iowa tomorrow for another big rally.
Too bad the liberal press do not report what Trump says about Hillary all the time at his rallies. No doubt to protect Shillary.
...Hillary's there but not there....
Always looking for help on her cue she missed...
Cruz went up more than Trump did and is within shouting distance of him
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Only if you want to call more than a 100% lead, “within shouting distance”
Trump - 39
Cruz - 18
That really surprises me.
How Jim is willing to overlook Trumps support of Kelo, Single payer healthcare, Ethanol subsidies, Planned Parenthood, confiscatory taxes on the rich, opposition of Medicare/Social Security reform and multiple donations to Democrats over the years is beyond me.
For petes sake Trumpwas praising Romney for his gentle approach to illegal immigrants and badmouthing Republicans for being “mean spirited” a scant 3 years ago.
Doesn’t add up.
RCP doesn’t include all the polls. There was a Fox poll that Trump led recently, and I believe a Zogby as well.
I think that she may also have a drinking problem.
That’s right, Damn the facts, FULL SPEED AHEAD!
