Itâs terrible for a number of reasons, but itâs on the way to the Senate anyway. A bipartisan vote closes out the House effort on the FY2016 budget, with the same kind of bloated and opaque legislation that Republicans were supposed to stop supporting:
The House has passed a $1.14 trillion spending bill to fund the government through next September.
Itâs a peaceful end in the House to a yearlong struggle over the budget, taxes, and Republican demands of President Barack Obama. â¦
Senators are expected vote on the budget measure in combination with a year-end tax plan that gives breaks to working families and a wide variety of business interests.

Even Mia love is MIA. She is an establishment joke.
McCain voted AGAINST this fiscal atrocity. Gee, it was just yesterday that I heard he had a challenger in AZ! What a shock that Juan has started dancing with conservatism again.
Yep the Gop is a disaster. Beholden to big money and special interest.
The Gop nwo. Make the white christians slaves and use muslims to take away the christian religion. Its all about the world leaders stealing the money. Old man Bush announced it. We need another tea party revolt.
Things were actually better when the democrats held congress. At least there were some fights against passing things then.
A vote for the GOP is a vote for Ryan and Romney and Rove
and McConnell and McCain and Issa and Benghazi and ISIS.
F**K em, let em starve!
Well, yeah - kinda where I was going with it! LOL
No offense to the Cruzers, as I know he’s a good man; but ...
Senator Ted Cruz is not ruthless - and at this moment we need a guy who is ruthless, because that is what it will take to TOTALLY DESTROY the GOP establishment ...
And THAT is how I want to see this “game” played - no prisoners, no mercy, no quarter. Politically emasculate and annihilate the establishment class - down to the very last man - NO EXCEPTIONS.
I share your sentiment, but I would use “writhe” instead of wither. Bunch of snakes!
My votes are completely swamped in California. Compeletely. My vote counts for NOTHING.
I considered that before commenting on this story. And you are right in their vein perception. But I believe they will reap what they have sown. One way or the other, directly or indirectly. They are just blinded to the reality of it.
The problem is, Obummer will surely arrange to make sure the muzzies coming in can no longer be found by the time Trump gets in.
The only way to forestall this, that I can see at the moment, is for Trump to begin pushing NOW for a law that any person who acts or has acted since 1/1/16 as an accessory or aid to the entrance into the US of any immigrant who commits a felony in the US or does not regularly and correctly report in their location (also to be considered a felony), gets the same length sentence as that felon-immigrant. The exception will be gov’t employees (including lawmakers), who get double the sentence.
Then of course there is the question of where the accessory or aid’s sentence is to be served. Breaking rocks in the Arizona / Nevada desert sounds good to me.
Me too. Despite my doubts (about Trump), the GOPe pushes me closer to him on an almost daily basis.
Yep.. Mine (voted yes) is going to get a VERY stern letter.
One more thing is, if your rep. responds, it will be a form letter and might include an envelope for you to donate!
Most all them do not respond with the specifics in your letter because they don't read it.
If it is read at all, it is done so by staff not by your rep. and answered by staff.
My main point to you is, if you're rep. (House or Senator) voted to approve that abomination, they care nothing about the people they were elected to serve!
They're only now mad as hell that you and other voters are watching their votes and what is included in these bills, that you and other peons are now aware that they do NOT represent the people but to Big Government!
If our Rep.’s realize they are likely to be voted out, they will care, and if they don’t, they get voted out...
Obviously, “staff” read most of the letters. But, even then, the few pols I’ve known would know if a big influx of letters was coming in 10:1 against a vote they had taken.
Maybe better would be a letter to the Rep., and copy it to a prominent newspaper in the area. Call local political talk shows. Or if one has time (unfortunately I’m swamped with “parents care”) and a little money, start a website that “watches” your local Rep., and advertise it in local papers. (Make sure the host has really good security against hacking.)
