“It is always a great honor to be so nicely complimented by a man so highly respected within his own country and beyond,†the GOP presidential front-runner told supporters at a rally in Columbus, Ohio.
“I have always felt that Russia and the United States should be able to work well with each other towards defeating terrorism and restoring world peace, not to mention trade and all of the other benefits derived from mutual respect,†he added.

It really shouldn't be controversial with all Putin has done, that he should not be respected.
Now if I was president, I would keep the praise in check and I would simply say something like, "I look forward to working with Putin on our mutual interests."

This is how you begin to cultivate a dialogue and some type of relationship as opposed to farting in their face as the Obumbler has done.

Putin must despise the despot, Hillary. Who could blame him for appreciating someone like TRUMP, who can bring bad news with some deadly clarity.
Gotta be some relief for Putin there, to just know where the damn red lines really are.
OTOH, I’m thinking Putin wants no part of TRUMP. Putin may believe an endorsement will hurt TRUMP.
