The plans of the next president are personal to the officers of the Pentagon, who are threatening to quit if The Donald becomes commander-in-chief.
Republican presidential candidate and business mogul Donald Trump has repeatedly vowed to build up the U.S. military if elected president.
But it is not clear he will have the experienced commanders within the ranks to do it.
In the halls of the Pentagon, there is a different plan afoot for the Trump presidency. Here, officers are privately contemplating what they would do should Trump become their commander-in-chief. And more often than not, they proclaim they will leave.

Most of the officer class has been purged Stalin like of real warriors and moral men by Obama.The entire Upper level of the military is compromised and should be removed.The entire Joint Chiefs should face Courts Martial for malfeasance and cowardice in the face of a domestic enemy, Obama!

I’d tell Trump to bring back the hundreds of officers that Obama drummed out of the military. They can keep their pension checks and we can pay them a salary....just like the double dippers do in Chicago. Those are old-time soldiers — exactly what we need!

If these dudes want to leave, I’m guessing they are the Obama yes men who replacement the real experienced commanders. Good riddance.
May have to either call back a lot of those officers who “retired” subsequent to 2009, or promote a number of the colonels and lieutenant colonels pretty quickly, those of whom have a goodly amount of recent combat experience.
A lot of deadwood has piled up recently in the Pentagon.
