Syrian refugees are being settled in South Carolina, despite a request from Gov. Nikki Haley that they not be placed in the state because of security concerns.
...
The Department of Social Services has been notified by Lutheran Services Carolinas that another family from Syria has been approved for resettlement in the State,â DSS spokeswoman Karen Wingo told The Greenville News. âHowever, the Department does not have any additional information at this time regarding their estimated date of arrival or planned location of placement.â
The federal government did not communicate with Haleyâs office that it was resettling the Syrians in South Carolina, according to the Governorâs Office. The governor learned of the resettlements through DSS and a resettlement agency.
Last month, Haley asked Secretary of State John Kerry not to place any of the Syrian refugees in South Carolina because of concerns of inadequate security checks and the possibility that some terrorists might infiltrate the thousands of refugees being processed for settlement into the United States.

Last Sunday night just after dark I was heading to JIA, the Jacksonville FL Int’l Airport, I saw something that I consider HIGHLY suspicious. It was December 13th, around six PM.
About a mile from the airport I saw a very unusual bus convoy heading from the direction of the airport and turning onto a ramp that would put them on I-295. It was made up of five HUGE white buses, gleaming white, with black windows. Five identical white buses, all of them just said “ACADEMY” on the side. I assume that is a charter company.
These buses were bigger than Greyhound buses, very modern and brand-new looking. They were traveling in a tight convoy tail to nose. Literally only yards between them. At the front and back of the convoy were white vans with blue and red police-style light bars flashing on top. Some other cars and vans without lights were following tight behind. This was a coordinated military-style convoy. I have never seen anything like it in my life.
So, who were the people in the five buses, coming from the airport and heading to the highways on Sunday night just after dark? Was the circus coming to town, incognito? Was a prison being opened or closed, and the prisoners were being transferred en-masse? I doubt it.
I’ll bet that it was a shipment of refugees, a full airplane load, being snuck onto federally-chartered buses and out of town for “resettlement” in some American city. They probably arrived under cover of darkness. I wonder where the convoy went? I wonder how many airplanes and bus convoys are coming in?
Just heard this and I agree completely.
They are not here to assimilate but to populate.
This needs to the the mantra from now on.
Pls see 21.
Bringing in Muslim terrorists. Happening around the country ?
I will keep a look out for that and let you know if I see them again or hear anything about it as I will get the word out here.
No photos from your cellphone?
Travis, would you please start a thread about this? Maybe someone can get a list of flights that arrived at JIA just prior to this, and where those flights came from.
Over on FB somebody mentioned it could have been the Colts going from the Jax stadium to the airport. I want to rule that out before posting anything new.
I understand, but we’re all FRamily here. Post it, and somebody will know if it was the Colts. If it was, it’ll be a fun thread. If it was the “refugees” (cough, cough) we need to know.
Academy Bus is a big charter service, apparently.
56 passengers each.
280 passengers on 5 buses.
One jet airplane load, I’d say.

Watch for much bigger crowds at the Gervais Street mosque & Islamic center on Fridays when Muslims have their “Jummah”.
My neighbor is still seething at what he saw this past September 11th in the Gervais mosque parking lot: men in kufi caps & robes jumping up & down, shouting “Allahu Akbar!!!”.
Watch for more CCW classes & gun purchases in S.C.
Typical “conservative” office holder.

Oh you already pinged I’m sorry.

They bus major sports teams around the country.
But it would still be interesting to know who transports these refugees.
In one way though, it doesn’t matter which states they arrive in, because after they get here they ARE NOT TRACKED and are free to travel anywhere in the country.
