Never gonna happen. If Trump doesn’t see fit to ask for the Lord’s forgiveness, he’s surely not going to ask for forgiveness from Cruz or Scalia.

He could. Just as Trump could do the same for Cruz, couldn’t he?. I’ve never hidden the fact that Cruz is my first choice. I think they’d make a great team, myself. I just think there is value in Cruz and Trump not feuding at this point. I harbor no ill will toward either and am willing to let a friendly contest of support ensue to its conclusion (if the pretenders are vanquished.)

He needs to admit when he is WRONG.

Mark my words: Trump doesn’t care about conservatism. Trump cares about what Trump cares about.

I didn’t look deeply into the Scalia brouhaha, but I caught part of Levin’s show where he placed some blame on Tapper stating he was dishonest with his Scalia question to Trump. Trump appears that he didn’t get the context, and his reading of Scalia was at first blush. Throw in Tapper’s BS’ing Trump, I don’t believe that Trump has much to apologize about here. Trump could say the Scalia words struck him wrong which it did, but now he knows the context so here is what he think now. Looks like a big bunch of ado about nothing.

Does Trump ever think that Trump is wrong?

Actually, Cruz could drop out, endorse Trump and challenge the others to follow suite.

So Cruz should drop out when not a single vote has been cast in any state, any primary, any caucus...

Heck, let's just crown Trump King and lord...

You guys are truly amazing with your Trump worship...

I like that you labeled your own vanity idea a political stroke of genius and gave it it’s very own thread. Why is it not in Breaking News?

How many battles did that “maniac” George Washington lose against the most powerful government in the world before his final victory?

Cruz has courage and a moral compass. He’s not leading from behind, he is waiting for others to rally to the flag he has planted in the ground. I hope to see you there soon.

“You guys are truly amazing with your Trump worship... “

I would say there is enough worship on both sides here. More than enough.

Maybe! But what is the exact quote in ‘quotes’.

So far, this looks like we’re falling for the media spin.

The exact quote is that Cruz isn’t qualified.

In response to Cruz attacking Trump first.

The same tact that LBJ did to totally eviscerate Goldwater's campaign. You can bet that Shillary will use the Cruz recording in her adds against Trump in the General election. Unpardonable dirty politics from Cruz.

Some thing like that. Trump said about Cruz in public what Cruz previously said about Trump in private.

.

the “idea” is indeed a “political stroke of genius” ...

trust me, the idea has already been floated by Donald Trump ...

and the “source” wasn’t me ... it was “common sense” ...

.

I have been a Trump backer as well as a fan of Ted Cruz. You are just a shill, unable to recognize anything bad done by someone you support, or anything good done by someone you don't. Trump was wrong to call Cruz a maniac. Cruz is the most balanced, civil politician in the world right now. To a fault; it's one of the reasons I think Trump is the better candidate to defeat the GOPe and end its control of what is supposed to be the conservative party in America. I fear Cruz can't generate the excitement that can overcome the sabotage from within the party, and the bias of the MSM.

So, no, maniac doesn't stick, it is a lie.

Trump could have gone after Cruz on electability, or on TPP or H1-B or something where they had a policy issue to discuss. But to attack him personally for being one of 4 or 5 conservatives in the Senate attempting to stand up to the Uniparty is wrong and Trump should be warned, by Rush and Levin and others, that he is going the wrong way.
