On Tuesday, the Superintendent of the Los Angeles Unified School District announced that all schools would be shut down today due to an unspecified terror threat. According to ABC News, that threat also carries “unknown credibility.†Bus drivers say they have been returned to their bus depots. LAUSD is the nation’s second-largest school district, with 640,000 students and 900 schools; children range from kindergarten to 12th grade.

One of my first thoughts was Jarrett, Obama and Ayers laughing in the oval office cooking this up as an orchestrated terrorist threat 'crisis.' Of course he'll have plausible denial. Then he can do the Limbaugh theorem. . "Whaa, I just saw it on CNN, blah blah." He'll also get more street cred with his Muslim Brotherhood buddies. . Then he can laugh and fly to Hawaii on Dec 18 for three weeks.
As an aside, with all this stuff going on, would You go to Hawaii for three weeks? I wouldn't. But hey, I'm one of those old white adults, you know, old school, conservative, white privilege and all of that. What do I know?

Is this an exercise to see how an “emergency” might be handled, with the “national security force” coming to the rescue?
Sounds like a stretch, but with these duplicitous types there’s no telling what they might be up to.
Very strange that a national security force might be needed when there already exist local, state, federal police, the F.B.I. and other agencies.

The delayed presser is underway. It’s full CYA mode. The delay was likely due to gather as many people as possible in “solidarity” of the decision to close schools.
I listened to this on the radio. The guy who made the decision to shut everything down sounded like your typical liberal. These people are terrible.
Folks, we can’t cowarding down everytime someone makes an electronic threat. If fact, you would think that’s an easy one to trace, no?

I had to turn it off when they began to introduce each member of the school board- “abundance of caution” was the theme.
The finger pointing and vicious arguments will probably start right after the press conference. They’ll be beating and blaming one another before this is done.
