After a pretty ridiculous swipe at Ted Cruz’s evangelical faith on Saturday, el Trumpo continued the attack today by calling Cruz a “maniac” for his efforts as a Senator.
And that doesn’t sit too well with the Great One, Mark Levin:
I have a feeling we’re going to be hearing more of Levin’s opinion on this on Monday on his radio show.
Trump might be ramping up the attacks because he sees polling that shows Cruz gaining on him nationally, and actually defeating him pretty badly in Iowa.
For his part, Ted Cruz just made a funny joke out of the critique from el Trumpo and posted it on Twitter.
I most certainly will.
Levin used to slobber over Marco Rubio.
Israel, a Conservative Supreme Court Justice, and now Mark Levin being trown under the bus by the Trump supporters, at least Trump is rising in one poll at least.
So we are told that Trump is against the GOPe and will defeat it. Looks like Trump is teaming up with McConnell here.
I hope Cruz realizes he’s about to get pushed down hard into the mud.
Oh really? I’m sure it was totally “innocuous” done with velvet gloves.
You do know that Trump endorsed Netanyahu for Prime Minister in a Likud Party ad?
A murdering Saudi Prince are our friends? Are you outta your mind? LOL
It was actually a request from Bibi too for trump to make the ad.
Right you are.
I agree Rush is favorable to Cruz.
He is also however, favorable to Trump.
Thanks for your post however. I still favor Trump.
Just saying. :D
That chart is tiresome and misleading
From my listening, Hannity and Ingraham like Cruz a lot. But Trump is their first choice.
“I put more stock in what Rush says.
:D
Levin is interesting, but Rush rules.”
X2
And didn’t Cruz say, behind closed doors, that Trump being ready as Commander in Chief would be a challenge, topping that off with his strategy to “hug Trump up”?
It’s more a matter of whose ox is being gored.
In this case, TRUMP must have been really ready for a little bit of a rumble, because he didn’t let it go by. Cruz stepped in his chili and finally provided Trump with an opening.
Explain. Cruz says Trump doesn’t have the judgment to handle the “trigger”. Is that not a cut? Why can Cruz say things like that while Trump is monster for answering back? This is getting bizarre.
Yes, I know Trump made an ad for Netanyahu. I also know he is not going to Israel as planned.
I agree with that.
But, if there’s anything that I wish people could see, imho, is Trump is merely a guy who tells whatever crowd he’s speaking to what they want to hear.
To an extent... I mean I’ll catch myself here and say that obviously the man says some things, a lot of things that he gets attacked for.
But he’s going to tailor his message as best as he can to get the people he’s speaking to to try to support him.
That’s smart, sure. It also makes trusting him a little bit, or maybe a lot dangerous.
I’m not even focused on the attacks on Cruz. Although yes, calling Cruz a maniac for standing for conservative principles against McConnell and for standing for the people who sent him to Washington, is well, maniacal in and of itself. Or at least bewildering and, well, the argument that an establishment guy could and does make.
Being for ethanol and subsidies like it- yes, that’s not conservative. But more to the point, he’s “for them” because he believes most people in Iowa are for them.
Sure the guy might be able to attract Democrats to vote for him. After all, he’ll probably at least slightly turn and speak their language if and when he’s the nominee.
So with that in mind, how exactly would he govern the country if he gets the opportunity? Obviously we don’t know. Although I don’t have high hopes.
So I’m in the camp that those getting behind him will probably be some of the most disappointed people in the country- either because something will happen and he won’t be the nominee or he in fact will be going all the way to the White House- but let a lot of people down once there.
Just my opinion of course- but with some of the things he’s said and done recently, if that doesn’t set off alarm bells for some people here, probably nothing will.
Levin is his own worst enemy. How many years has he been threatening to leave the Republican party now?
The party he laps up to (his gravy) is done; over. Levin puts up or shuts up. He’s no god.
Actually it’s change of plans. He’s going to see Netanyahu as President. :-)
