“The Sunday Morning Bray”, by Bray!

Matthew 15:14
Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

The Punditocracy has lost their collectivist marbles over Trump. They continually try to scare the commoners that he has no chance due to his lack of sophistication and nuanced phraseology. What Moscow on the Potomac does not understand is people are tired of their lectures and disdain. Americans are hard working intelligent people and the elite’s continual put down has worn threadbare.
Trump is able to articulate American pride and disgust as better than any person in the last forty years.

As about the only pundit who stated at the start, the election would come down to Trump and Cruz while all the million dollar minds were calling him a rodeo cowboy it is time to say why. The question is how can the Establishmedia be so wrong when their entire lives are built around understanding politics? There are two primary reasons and they are their agenda and self preservation.

It is easy to understand the extreme Marxists would be against him since they are only interested in promoting their utopian mirage, but what about Fox and the Conservative analysts? They have the same problems Repubs have in the beltway, in that they want to be invited to all brie and Chablis parties. Even though their job is to argue against liberalism it is human nature to be liked and respected which means you have to go along with the echo chamber.

Groupthink is seductive and pays very well. Political analysis is a very subjective science and any argument is a good argument if you can back it up with a semi-valid argument. Common knowledge says you cannot win the election if you do not have the Hispanic vote as well as blacks. Whether or not it is true is irrelevant, it is settled science. The same common knowledge says you can only get their vote by pandering and giving gummit freebies. Trump is breaking both of those rules so the experts are declaring him toast even though he is doing better with those two groups than any Repub has ever done.

The other common knowledge is you tell one group one thing that they want to hear and when you talk to a different audience you tell them just the opposite. The goal of any trained politician is to not say anything about anything and speak in platitudes and be all things to all people. The old school politician wants to be sure nobody can pin them down on any issue with the exception of some minor issues which have no bearing on the election.

What people like about Trump is he does not play those games and understands people are not afraid to tackle big problems. He has managed to discuss a couple of the largest issues in America with immigration and Islamic terror. He has a lifetime of understanding and is a genius marketer and self promoter which is actually what elections are. He is brilliant enough to realize that people respect his plain speech and their willingness to tackle large problems. Americans are not afraid to roll up their sleeves and whether or not they agree with him they respect his taking a stand on these controversies.

He understands talking about an issue is the first step towards solving it. The Marxists wants a world of safe rooms where no issue is discussed except by those who agree with them. How can you find a solution if you only talk about half of the issue? How can you solve any problem if you eliminate common sense? It is where we are today and he has the nerve and the articulation to go against Political Correctness exposing it for the fraud it is. When you peel away all the fake outrage and name calling PC is nothing more than censorship by a virtual lynch mob.

The lynch mob has met its match and now is running out of racist, sexist, homophobe cards and Trump is running right through their defenses, but enough about Fox Snooze. The latest Mooselimb moratorium is the perfect example. While the entire Establishmedia were screaming racist at the tops of their lungs Americans were saying about time. It was not just the Conservatives but many blue collar Dems were agreeing. Why does America owe everyone in America citizenship and especially if they want to kill us? Let Hillary run on that platform.

Do conservatives agree with Trump on everything? Of course not and it is likely he will infuriate them when he is in office, but what Repub hasn’t? GW ran as a Conservative in the Reagan mold and immediately let Kennedy write Common Core and the expansion of Medicare. Conservatives are being pragmatic and realizing they have someone who is right on two or three of the biggest issues this country is facing. He has turned the discussion to conservative issues and has brought an excitement which is bringing votes from groups Dems have won with.

His main question now is can he and is he building a network to bring out the vote. Are his people talking to their neighbors and making sure his people actually show up on primary day. By all appearances his voters are very committed to him and motivated which usually turns into wins. He needs to get his 35% out and ignore the rest and he will be the nominee.

Some of us never thought we would see a primary like this. Many say it reminds them of Reagan although it seems more like Truman with his swearing with a sense of humor and regular guy common sense. On the other hand he may be unlike any candidate we have ever seen who is a pure capitalist who made his billions the old fashioned way, he earned them. Most Americans like the fact he cannot be bought and is funding his own campaign which terrifies the District of Corruption.

We have never seen anything like it as we are used to honest politicians who once they are bought stay bought while dishonest ones go to the highest bidder. These are dangerous times and it may be we need a cross between Truman and Patton to win this war against Fundamental Islamic terror. Love him or hate him he has pulled back the curtain on The Religion of Peace.

Merry Christmas

Note: The above opinion is not necessarily my own, but FReeper Bray’s. If you wish to discuss this, please ping Bray.

All the networks' boycott of Cruz continues.

Well all he did this week was make big news about his comments about Trump and jumped up in the Iowa Polls to a 10 point lead. Surely that doesn't rack up a Newsworthy Score higher than just being Governor of Ohio or Senator from Florida.

In fact, the boycott of Cruz tells us a lot about who the Dems and the MSM (sorry to be redundant) fear the most. Cruz would slice Hillary into (sorry again) bite size pieces in the Presidential Debates.

I would expect that the lead story on each show will be the latest poll results in Iowa, which is supposed to validate the lifer expectations that Trump would eventually collapse and then it can all go back to business as usual. JEB! must be doing a happy dance somewhere; hopefully where nobody can see it.

"The Happy Happy Tippy Toe". It will be just like the Macarena, but different.

What I don’t expect to see is a story or even a comment about Hillary being the Dems equivalent of Bob Dole, or John McCain or Mitt Romney. Or how Hillary will inspire the same level of black vote that Obama got, which she will need to win. That all seems to be avoided.

And Follow the Money: a story of federal workers being paid.. to do nothing!

Shocking. But doesn't that describe the majority of federal employees?

I don't believe there's a media cabal designed to keep Cruz off the Sunday programs and I haven't heard Cruz complain about the lack of attention either.

I’ve been tracking this and I’ve come to believe he is not being shunned, but rather Senator Cruz doesn’t want to be there.

If they were shunning him—for example, Kasich has been on more then a dozen times, Linda Graham on twice as many, Christie, Fiorina; yet Cruz leads them all—I think Ted would rightfully complain. He does not mind taking the media to task so I don’t think he would shy from accusing them...

So, I’ve come to think he doesn’t want to go on the Sunday Talk shows. He just want to play their “Gotcha” games on their turf us all.

Your right AB, the shows do not reach his voters. He is better off speaking and organizing, that is his strength. Why argue with a person who disagrees with everything you believe and he does not fit that forum as well as Trump.

IMO, the Sunday shows for Republicans, are not a good venue for winning voters - they are negative press generators. The enemedia is looking for those ‘gotcha’ moments so they have something to harp on and replay against Republicans.

Cruz is doing well, doesn’t need negative press & they would all be jumping on him with both feet since he is a serious Constitutional conservative. The Donald doesn’t need the exposure - I think he just loves beating the press up. The rest of the schlubs in single digits need ANY kind of press, even negative .... pathetic (they should go home). I personally like it a lot that Cruz can and will thumb his nose at the Sunday shows and refuse to play their game on their turf. My 2 cents this morning.

Morning AB, All, Bray.....

Sang at mass yesterday when Father Tom wore what appeared to be some kind of bedsheet over his priestly garments. This guy has a wardrobe that will rival most females.

Also, get this, the church now offers a GLUTEN-FREE communion wafer, seriously....special place to get in line for same, go to hell, how the hell much gluten can be in a little communion wafer.

Things still not going good for me here but the county lawyer is taking my case, deep discount, and he said YES when I offered to buy him a drink but no specific date or anything.

All my life I been a liberated woman and finally get to really be one.

Here’s a link to his book that I reviewed.

http://www.amazon.com/Growin-Up-Country-Rural-1950s/dp/0985599901/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1450014151&sr=1-1&keywords=j.+everett+moore

Anyway, hey, he’s helping me with this case and he is, go to hell, the Sussex county council lawyer.

Heh.

All my liberal friends in atwitter over Donald Trump and his suggestion we don’t import Muslims.

I say bring them in and let them live in the houses of those who think it’s okay to bring in terrorists.

Heh.

FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): Global Warming Advocate Chris Wallace

Last week prior to Ben Carson’s appearance they run a clip of Buffalo NY and Wallace comments about how ‘this is the first time since the 1800’s there has been no snow on the ground in December’, then Wallace say’s ‘let the climate change debate begin’. Where’s the ‘fair and balanced’ Mr Wallace?

I just noticed that the one and only review of Everett’s book IS MINE!

I even tell the story of how he spearheaded the property boundary issue.

NOW HE’S MY LAWYER ON THE MATTER!

Heh.

As always, thanks for the helpful post! Agree that Cruz is likely boycotting the Sunday blab shows, probably going to church with family...also, respecting his core voters who are off doing the same. He has probably concluded there is no benefit from these appearances.

My lighting round

Reaction to Trumps statement on temporary halting immigration for Muslims -reminded of Limbaugh’s ‘I hope he fails’, the comfort of politically correctness gives way to sobering lucidity.

-Also, they are not only from the middle east, for examples, France considers closing down 100’s of locations, and even Sweden has reported big problems this week.

White house Press Secretary Josh Earnest says Trump doesn’t have the judgement -Huh?, it is Obama who has quoted some ‘supreme leader’ of Iran about a fatwa on nuclear bombs for peace. The Islamic State is also a Theocracy. Is Obama going to quote the ‘supreme leader’ of the Islamic state?...

Climate change conference agreement -seems like another Theocracy.

Report authorities discovered a pipe bomb in a residential neighborhood in Anaheim Friday night -First-responders need to be alert like in Israel, look for the possibility of suspicious staging in a darkened/hidden area, house, vehicle, -ect. Take into consideration an incident like this may be testing the system. Instead of crowding around the area, civilians should also be aware as the primary distraction may not be the whole intent.
