I asked a 2 time Obama voter about the supreme leader/fatwa quote and he hadn’t a clue about it, which Trump may have a point in there is something we are not being told from Obama, but I’d attribute that something to being a know-it-all who could never be wrong.

An aside, later another fella that had previously told me Obama would never be elected because of his middle name came along, and I pointed out this fella voted for him twice and we laughed hard.

My thinking is that if those developing countries cannot use fossil fuels—cheap, abundant energy—then they’ll always be developing and never developed.

Their masses of poor will remain poor because the economic opportunities of cheap, abundant energy means factories, jobs and the tide raising all boats.

You can’t do that with solar and wind. It just isn’t going to happen.

So that means the developed world’s political Left (idiots) are just a bunch of 1 percent elitist racists screwing the Third World poor. I’m serious.

Just considering the last election you could estimate approximately 50% of the SUV’s on the road are Democrats who support climate change enforcement for everyone else.

There is a civil war going on in Islam. The fundamentalists are winning. Turkey is a prime example.

I subscribe to Samuel Huntington's Clash of Civilizations"

It is my hypothesis that the fundamental source of conflict in this new world will not be primarily ideological or primarily economic. The great divisions among humankind and the dominating source of conflict will be cultural. Nation states will remain the most powerful actors in world affairs, but the principal conflicts of global politics will occur between nations and groups of different civilizations. The clash of civilizations will dominate global politics. The fault lines between civilizations will be the battle lines of the future.

Huntington offers six explanations for why civilizations will clash:

Differences among civilizations are too basic in that civilizations are differentiated from each other by history, language, culture, tradition, and, most important, religion. These fundamental differences are the product of centuries, so they will not soon disappear.

The world is becoming a smaller place. As a result, the interactions across the world are increasing, and they intensify civilization consciousness and awareness of differences between civilizations and commonalities within civilizations.

Due to the economic modernization and social change, people are separated from longstanding local identities. Instead, religion has replaced this gap, which provides a basis for identity and commitment that transcends national boundaries and unites civilizations.

The growth of civilization-consciousness is enhanced by the dual role of the West. On the one hand, the West is at a peak of power. At the same time, a return-to-the-roots phenomenon is occurring among non-Western civilizations. A West at the peak of its power confronts non-Western countries that increasingly have the desire, the will and the resources to shape the world in non-Western ways.

Cultural characteristics and differences are less mutable and hence less easily compromised and resolved than political and economic ones.

Economic regionalism is increasing. Successful economic regionalism will reinforce civilization-consciousness. Economic regionalism may succeed only when it is rooted in a common civilization.

So why are we bringing in so many people from different cultures and religions? This is the real Trojan Horse.

I asked a 2 time Obama voter about the supreme leader/fatwa quote and he hadn't a clue about it

Believe me, that's like 99 percent of the conversations I have with Obamatrons.

Never heard of it.

Didn't know.

Don't believe me.

Faux News isn't news.

Can't prove it.

But... They all KNEW Sarah Palin said she could see Russia from her house.

Morons. Facts mean nothing to them. They think all facts are made up, or are too hard to think about. Anything that makes Obama look bad are conservative lies.

Oh, and it wasn't on/in ABCCBSCNNNBCPBSNYTWASHPO.

Josh Lyin’ Liar Earnest is now saying, by way of defending the Bergdahl/5 Terrorist exchange, that the Commander in Chief doesn’t leave anyone IN UNIFORM behind.

Since when is leaving a traitor (in or out of uniform) behind? He joined the enemy. We still have military personnel who defected living in NK. Should Snowden be repatriated and not left "behind."

...The Marxists wants a world of safe rooms where no issue is discussed except by those who agree with them. How can you find a solution if you only talk about half of the issue? How can you solve any problem if you eliminate common sense?...

I love this quote. Outstanding essay, Bray!

Merry Christmas to you, and to all on this Thread.

Judging by the forecast for the next couple of days up here in Montana (plus a casual glance or two at http://sat.wrh.noaa.gov/satellite/loopsat.php?wfo=byz&area=west&type=ir&size=28), I’d put a dime or six on Buffalo having snow on the ground in the next week to ten days plus maybe a whole bunch the week of Christmas.

One old saw about our weather sez “We get the warm right before the storm” and it’s proven itself accurate for more years than any of us have been around. Yeah, we’ve had a little bit of a warm spell, but all most folks around here do when that happens is double check on the snow tires and extra coats and gloves in the truck.

Maybe some of those smart.....okay, so-called “expert” commentators should get out into the real world instead of reading all this tripe off their little teleprompters.

I got tired a long time ago with having to watch those tourists who apparently get ALL of their information from those media twerps show up in these mountains in shorts, birkenstocks and absolutely no thought at all that they could see snow/cold almost any time of the year at all.

...don’t think I’ve even bothered to find a place to hook a tow strap on a Prius, either. Let Gaia pluck it outta the ditch next Spring.

Doesn’t look like it from the OAN website schedule. Just news and headlines all day, until Tipping Point at 10P.

It is not about helping the poor. It is about power and globalism and greed. And we know about the corruption in the Third World. Most of the money will be siphoned off thru kickbacks. The money will prop up Third World dictators.

*****************************

Oh I totally agree with that. Self-inflicted is the way I see it with Berghdahl. Of course, Omuslim/Earnest don’t mention the ‘running off to join the enemy’ part .... doesn’t go along with the meme.

While I’m feeling really pi$$y about the whole subject, here is something else that made me madder than H.E. double hockey sticks. I saw an article where they reported that as “soon as the shooting took place, Obama convened a meeting with the National Security Council and the heads of other federal enforcement agencies to discuss a public relations strategy” ........ NOT matters of national security & were more attacks on the way, etc., BUT how they were going to deal with it from a PR standpoint. This gets into the pressure the FBI was under not to call it a “terror” attack. Cruz has said straight up that Omuslim refuses to defend the country ... everything he does proves the point.

I understand climate change God, Leonardo de Caprio, did not understand that a Chinook wind doesn’t mean the world is melting. You must get some of that in your parts. He was filming in Alberta and there was little or no snow.

And I haven’t heard a Sunday Talk Show word about the DHS Whistleblower Philip Haney, but he was on Fox News Channel’s Justice with host Judge Jeanine last night.

Thats how the left gets elected over and over again. most of their voters don’t have a clue what they’re all about.if they did they never vote for them in a million years.
Anyway it’s our communication failure

Great post Iraq is a perfect example of how the poor get screwed over and over again. the current president is playing fast and loose with oil revenues keeping as much for himself as possible even making deals with Isis.that means average Iraqi citizens get screwed especially the sunni.

Trump is more angry about the Cruz remarks about him at a private meeting with his donors. Trump sees this as crossing the line giving him license to attack Cruz regardless of the issues. Today, he said that Cruz doesn’t play well with others given his status as a pariah in the Senate. As a result, he doesn’t think Cruz can get anything accomplished should he get into the WH.

The question global warming climate change is one of the greatest cons ever put on man kind could be its undoing.
Another one of the reasons the hard left has so much invested in it
