My thinking is that if those developing countries cannot use fossil fuels—cheap, abundant energy—then they’ll always be developing and never developed.

Their masses of poor will remain poor because the economic opportunities of cheap, abundant energy means factories, jobs and the tide raising all boats.

You can’t do that with solar and wind. It just isn’t going to happen.

So that means the developed world’s political Left (idiots) are just a bunch of 1 percent elitist racists screwing the Third World poor. I’m serious.

It is not about helping the poor. It is about power and globalism and greed. And we know about the corruption in the Third World. Most of the money will be siphoned off thru kickbacks. The money will prop up Third World dictators.

Great post Iraq is a perfect example of how the poor get screwed over and over again. the current president is playing fast and loose with oil revenues keeping as much for himself as possible even making deals with Isis.that means average Iraqi citizens get screwed especially the sunni.
