Proving once again that our oh-so superior DC pundits are out-of-touch and blindingly bubble-dumb, a new CBS/New York Times national poll shows that all this talk about Donald Trumpâs so-called ceiling is just more wishful thinking. If you thought the DC Media was furious before over their inability to destroy Trump, now that he has surged to 35%, the punditsâ impotent rage is about to go nuclear.
Last month, in this same poll, Trump sat at just 22%.
Trump isnât just leading with 35%, he is crushing second and third place combined. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) enjoys that second place standing with 16% support â which is a massive surge in this poll, quadrupling his showing in the last one. Ben Carson is in third with 13%. Establishment favorite Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) sits in single digits with just 9%. Jeb Bush remains the walking dead at 3%. Carly Fiorina is at just 1%.
When you add together the national support for Trump, Cruz, and Carson, what you see is that a full 65% of GOP primary voters are in full rebellion against the Republican Establishment.
...
Trump is not a politician. He is a revolutionary leading a revolution against two of the most hated, corrupt and dangerous intuitions in this country: the elite political class and a rotted, fat, comfortable, left-wing DC Media that has set the politically correct rules for presidential campaigns in such a way that our country is falling apart.
Power to the people.

Is there a point where the GOP will just say “screw it” at least he is running as a Republican and not a demorat or 3rd party, and get behind him? Any number?
He does, but right now that’s a pretty LOW percentage of our population! :(
Medved and Hewitt are approaching panic mode over The Donald.
This will be fun to listen to as the campaign progresses.
“65% of GOP primary voters are in full rebellion against the Republican Establishment”
Hellllloooooooo Rove, RINOs, GOPe, WSJ, Boner, McTurtle, Comrade Juan McNuts, Linda, Jeb!
I think very few Trump supporters are the kind who take welfare. Trump haters are the corporate welfare types, though. The poor don’t really think about politics much, they just do what they are told by their democrat bosses.
I expect a clinton/bush ticket
They can bring in whoever they want TRUMP is unbeatable, Americans are DAMN SICK AND TIRED of the PC crap going on in this country my goodness you can’t say a damn thing ANYMORE without an uproar!!!! Trump is opening a door for ALL of us to FINALLY be able to speak our minds!!!!!
Trump’s continued success is freaking out the corrupt uni-party/media cartel. If they get scared enough they’ll do a “Kennedy” on him.
It they were smart and wanted to win they would do it. Seems though that many have another agenda - and doing what is best for the party and the country is not on their list.

John Nolte gets it...
They will need some zombie resurrection magic to get him back up on anyone’s radar screen.
I turned off Medved yesterday and may not go back until after the election. Salem better find some new hosts are their gonna lose a lot of listeners.
Donald is not stupid it is a win-win. Jeff Kunher ( WRKO 680 12 to 3 listen on the web or via app ) noted today that Cruz's ground game is ( my words ) legendary. He has a team in every county in America. Why wouldn't Trump grab him to get a ground game running ASAP which gives you leverage against a potential sabotaging and dysfunctional E-GOP....
I think another advantage of Cruz is that he is onto their game and knows exactly what it is and what they will try. Trump is smart, but he hasn’t been as involved in the inside politics in DC that Cruz has. Cruz knows who can be trusted, who can’t, how they fool the people and what they say behind closed doors. He can be an important resource for someone facing sabotage from his own party.
No, because the establishment Republican’s are not really Republicans at all, let alone conservatives. They’re outsiders who, over the years, have taken over the apparatus of the Republican party. Their sole objective is to get a big government globalist into the White House. They know that, whoever the Democrats nominate, they’ll be happy with them. They want to make sure that the GOP also runs a globalist so that, whichever party wins in the general election, they’re insured of getting what they want.
I think it was Lennin who made a comment to the effect that, the best way to defeat the opposition is to become the opposition (i.e. co-opt the actual opposition).
