Buried in a National Journal story about the importance of ânon-voters, a group that, in AmerÂicÂan politics, is usuÂally either igÂnoted or scorned,â is anecdotal evidence that Donald Trump may galvanize voters who sit out elections because they canât stand traditional politicians from both sides of the political aisle.
According to Frank, âthe only canÂdidÂate he felt talked any sense was DonÂald Trump, âwho doesnât walk around the isÂsues, says whatâs on his mind.â He said a Trump nomÂinÂaÂtion would make him conÂsider a trip to the votÂing booth.â
Frank found Marine Corps veteran Bobby Beote at the other end of the bar. According to Frank, Beote âalso served in the Gulf War, which had left him with severe stomÂach probÂlems and othÂer ailÂmentsâreÂlated to what is now known as Gulf War SynÂdromeâever since. He had a full-time job at a reÂcycÂling comÂpany, and he was reÂceivÂing disÂabÂilÂity from the fedÂerÂal govÂernÂment for his war-reÂlated illÂness.â He told National Journal that while âhe kind of liked Trump, he didnât see himself voting.â He reportedly âoffered an informed take on the newsâ and declared that government was âcrooked from the bottom up.â
Trumpâs ability to bring in new voters who do not vote regularly in elections will be critical to his success in the GOP primary and a potential general election against Hillary Clinton. And many of these voters support Trump on illegal immigration and Islamic terrorism.
During a September campaign event in Oklahoma, Trump, as Breitbart News reported, told the audience that âmillions and millions of people stayed home because they were not energizedâ by Mitt Romney in 2012 and âif the people that are here tonight are energized, youâre going to win.â

Will he zinc-plate them to the polls too?
Those who want to live may get off their butts and vote this time.
More bad news for the GOPe.
Further evidence they are going to be forced out sooner or later.
If they follow through on the plans Limbaugh talked about yesterday to deny Trump the nomination or the Presidency through skullduggery we’re going to have a full blown Constitutional Crisis on our hands.
National Journal Discovers Trump May Galvanize âNon-Votersâ to Polls

I believe quite a number of Democrats, as well.
Quite a lot of people, find Donald Trump simply inspiring.
The gibberish typographical characters in this excerpt make it virtually unreadable.
Wow. Not much gets past these guys!
The effect was named after the scientist Luigi Galvani, who investigated the effect of electricity on dissected animals in the 1780s and 1790s. When Galvani was doing some dissection work in his lab, his scalpel touched the body of a frog, and he saw the muscles in the frog's leg twitch. Galvani referred to the phenomenon as animal electricity, believing that he had discovered a distinct form of electricity.
No gibberish at the Breitbart source.
Usually it's punctuation marks that have been garbled. This post has characters representing nothing. Odd.
This article in unreadable on FR and I will not click the link to a ad laden website.
We’re not a democracy. We are a Constitutional Republic.
Last night every pontificator on tv was saying.....Republican leaders will not allow Trump to be the nominee. They’ve got something in the works.
Wishful thinking?
When a typical politician or party gets elected and never does anything (read: GOP Congress) people are less likely to bother to vote.
When a politician or candidate pledges to do something and you believe them (Trump) you are more likely to support them and vote for them.
Are we a Free Republic? ;)
Who were these ‘pontificators’? MSNBC/NBC/Fox/CNN?
If Republican ‘leaders’ have anything ‘in the works’ to keep Trump from being the nominee, they’ll have bigger problems than Trump to deal with.
More bad news for GOPee ping!
