It’s all part of Cruz’ genius master plan. He’ll lay low in single digits, stealthily gathering up endorsements from county commissioners in Arkansas and Mississippi, then spring into action at the last minute, taking everyone in by surprise. Trust me, it’s in the bag! Ted has it as good as locked up!

Zogby grew up in Utica, New York, the son of Lebanese Catholic immigrants. His brother, James Zogby, is the founder of the Arab American Institute, and is also an independent pollster and Senior Analyst with Zogby Analytics.

An interpreter of politics, Zogby ran unsuccessfully for Mayor of Utica, New York, in 1981. He describes himself as a Democrat, while his polling firm is “independent and nonpartisan.”[4] He served on the advisory council for Bio-Technology for the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), and as a Commissioner on the Center for Strategic and International Studies Commission on Smart Power, after having previously served on the Congressional-created Advisory Group on Public Diplomacy for the Arab and Muslim World.[5]

Zogby International[edit]

Zogby founded the polling firm Zogby International in 1984. Since then, he has conducted polls and focus groups around the world, including the polling of Arab attitudes toward the U.S., particularly in regard to Lebanon. He gained the most publicity for his polls of U.S. presidential elections.[citation needed]

Zogby first gained attention in the 1992 presidential election when he released a survey showing the New York State Governor Mario Cuomo would lose in his home state to incumbent President George H. W. Bush. That poll is widely thought to have pushed Cuomo from the race. Zogby gained more national attention in the 1996 presidential election when his final poll came within a tenth of a point of the actual result. Zogby also correctly polled the cliffhanger result of the 2000 presidential election won narrowly by George W. Bush, in contrast to most other pollsters who had expected Bush to win easily.[citation needed]

Zogby International also achieved success with elections in countries outside the U.S. Zogby correctly called the 2001 Israeli election for Ariel Sharon, the 2000 Mexican election for Vicente Fox, and again in Mexico with the victory of Felipe Calderón in 2006.[citation

“FYI, John Zogby is a Muzzie, so Taquiya may be in operation here.”

Then the poll is bad juju, uh, i mean bad Taquiya, since if Zogby really wanted to try to hurt Trump, he’d show Trump crashing big time, which is exactly what the corrupt Uniparty media is desperate to to pound Trump with right now.

Cruz supporters had an epiphany that Trump is the leader.

-— Just remember folks, Ted*s in charge. I was assured of that just yesterday from Ted*s most prolific supporter on the forum.-—

Don’t be shocked if Ted wins Iowa. If he does, people will start paying attention to him as the new shiny object. Remember that unless you watch Fox, you’ve seen very little of Cruz.

Holy Chihuahua! This Trump dude is a smart as a whip! His timing is unbelievable. He comes out with a new policy proposal exactly at the right time. The carnage in San Bernardino was the right time to be followed up with ban on new Muslim immigrants/refugees.

I’m not terribly against Cruz, I just don’t think he’s presidential material. Trump though, is an executive. Something different. And we need just that combination.

Ahhhh have some sympathy for the ardent Cruz supporters. They are not the real enemies. They need a handkerchief right now. The real enemies are socialists, democrats, bleeding heart liberals, etc.

I don't pretend to understand the motives of the Zogbys, and I don't have a good answer for your question.

One possibility is that hardcore Leftists, which the Zogbys are, all seem to see Trump as doom for the Republican Party. Hell, most of the elected Republicans seem to portray Trump that way...might the Zogbys think they are adding fuel to the fire?

Here is just a little of what you can read about them with a few minutes' looking around:

They might have been born to Catholic parents. But in 2010 John published an article titled "The Catholic Church: A Failed Institution?" He has his irons in any number of fires, most of them kindled in the Middle East.

And brother James:

James Joseph Zogby(born 1945) is the author of Arab Voices and the founder and president of the Arab American Institute (AAI), a Washington, D.C.-based organization which serves as a political and policy research arm of the Arab-American community.

He is Managing Director of Zogby Research Services, LLC, specializing in research and communications and undertaking polling across the Arab world. In September 2013, Zogby was appointed to the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom by President Obama.

Zogby is a lecturer and scholar on Middle East issues and a Visiting Professor of Social Research and Public Policy at New York University Abu Dhabi.

He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Democratic National Committee, and a Senior Analyst with Zogby {polling] Analytics.

Read a little deeper in the Wiki entries to see that James and probably John too are up to their beards in support of the PLO, Hezbollah and so on.

Apologies for going on at length. These two scoundrels have bugged me for a long time.

The good news is Trump's numbers are high. I just don't like the stink of the Zogbys anywhere nearby.

The Monmouth poll a surge did show.
Cruz’ people said, “He’s on the go!”
A verbal nuke Trump then did drop.
Alas the surge came to a stop.

Funny...I didn’t see your post and posted much of the same material myself.

They are devious and underhanded IMO. With them (as a business acquaintance once said of all Arabs) “you never see the sword coming.”

Wrong!

Trump ahead by 25 points and Jeb "guarantees" he won't be the nominee?

Will we have to play Cowboys and GOPe at the Convention?

Bikers, truckers, people on horseback and 2 million Patriots show up with signs and all decked out in Patriot gear and Gadsden flags! The lady with her Trump dress, Diamond and Silk having rallies, man oh man, just visualize the humanity! Bands at night, rallies with Trump, Cruz, Palin and Lee Outside the convention at the entrance. Now wouldn't THAT be something!!

Wrong what?

That Zogbys parents were Catholic? I don't dispute that.

Do the Zogby sons claim to be Catholic? Do you know?

Obama claims to be a Christian born in Hawaii---

RIGHT?
