BREAKING: Trump Likely to be BANNED from Future Republican Debates (Aug 2014)
The Political Insider ^ | 2015-12-08 | The Political Insider

Posted on 12/09/2015 8:45:09 AM PST by WhiskeyX

This report should make Donald Trump supporters angry! While taxpayers are often funding political debates, the Republican Party has the ultimate say over its own events. And while the GOP is supposed to stand for the principles of the Founding Fathers, it can be manipulated by the political establishment which can’t stand Trump’s conservative views.

The real reason why the GOP is focusing on Trump’s threat to run as a 3rd party candidate is it would give them grounds to boot him from future debates. The Republican Party, to protect its interests, is probably willing to boot the front-runner candidate. And they have savvy enough operatives, such as Karl Rove, who are ready to do it…

Enter Roy Cohn disguised as D. Trump. His lawyers will be all over this. Pew research says 13% want to use bad crap against Americans.

Has anyone in the GOP even endorsed Trump yet? They are no more allowed freedom of thought than the democrats are.

The GOP would cease to exist if they did, and every GOP hack would be unemployed after the next election.

What this means is that ANY politician with an “R” after their name gets primaries, and doesn't even get put on the ballot, because the republican party will cease to exist.

Banning Trump would be one way to get rid of him—Use every resorce they have—and its big—to turn Trump into a clown, a fool, an egotist, bigot. (Hey it worked on the Tea Party). But he could counter with his savy. Yes, we live in strange times. He may well set up a 3rd Party—and become another footnote in History. Or he could be worse—a real thorn in the side of the GOPe. Run as an Independent with Sarah Palin as his VP.

I still have my doubts Donald isn’t working for the Clintons. WOuld be a nefarious plan if the GOPE working with the Clintons were using the Donald as insurance to keep a conservative from winning. The GOPE knew Jeb wasn’t going anywhere, they’re other line ups RUBIO isn’t going anywhere with the Gang of 8, & they knew they likely wouldn’t be able to compete with the likes of a grassroots candidate like Cruz. So that’s where the Donald comes in to run third party, create the division and chaos in the GOP, then Hillary swoops in and takes it.

I doubt this entirely, the only reason folks are turning into the debates is because of Trump.... Whether you like him or not, he is getting folks to tune in... and while I know without question the GOPE would rather see Hillary than Trump in the White House given a choice, they aren’t stupid enough.

They may try to bait him into quitting, but as long as he is not running as a 3rd party they will not keep him off the stage.

Pinging the crap out of the BS meter.

This might be some desperate ploy threat by Rove for Yeb, but most of the other GOPeers would know this as nearest rendition to a circular firing squad.

The nomination and POTUS is down to Cruz, Trump or maybe Rubberio, everyone else is as Jerry Jeff Walker says “pissin in the wind”, including hitlery.

So this is just idle speculation on the part of this writer and has no basis in anything that the RNC or anyone connected with the RNC actually said?

Trump isn't threatening a 3rd Party run, it's the GOP!

We know the disdain hatred the GOPe has for Conservatives and Trump.

This may be what they wanted all along. just to come out of the proverbial closet and admit they are only in it for the power to themselves.

They will ban him only if they want him to run as a third party candidate, which would most likely result in the election of Hillary, with Trump playing the same role as Perot in 1992 and 1996.

Even if Trump manages to beat both Hillary and the Republican candidate, under the 12th Amendment it is nearly impossible for a third party candidate to get elected, since he has to win a majority (not a plurality) of the electoral college.

If, for example, Trump wins 49%, Hillary gets 26% and the Republican candidate gets 25%, then it goes to the House, which will vote along party lines and elect the Republican candidate (since the GOP now controls the House).

Are they gonna ban him from Twitter too? Because that is where the action will be!

Install Yeb as POTUS with a thin minority of support? The country will break out in open rebellion.
