Univision struck back Friday at Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's $500 million lawsuit claiming that it unjustly broke a contract to broadcast beauty pageants, citing his "disgraceful allegations" about Mexican immigrants.
Univision lawyers filed papers in Manhattan federal court asking a judge to toss out the lawsuit Trump filed in July.
The lawyers said Trump destroyed the value of Univision's rights to broadcast the Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants when he announced June 16 that he was running for president. ...

How does the illegale furore play in the Peorias of Mexico? I am not positive that they are getting huge sympathy in that quarter. These are people who are boogieing out on Mother Mexico and living loose, only to send back dollars (sometimes) and quite often involved in the scourge of modern criminal drug trade. They may secretly be saying thank you Donald Trump for bringing some sanity to this picture, for putting a lid on the US honey pot from which swarms of pestilence are coming back to us.

And perhaps even mainstream Mexico is contemptuous of them, for various reasons. They could think of far worse things in the status quo than Trump’s “wall with a big beautiful door.”

We could put a ten per cent tax on all remittances sent to Mexico. That’s about $2.3 billion on $23 billion sent back annually.
The wall costs about $ 2 billion.
Won’t be hard to find a judge who hates Trump. Univision will probably get their way.
Lots of luck with that ( NOT !) Univision...that’s NOT a cause to break a VALID contract.

Only God knows how that situation will turn out, but if God is smiling on Trump (which He frequently does on people who are destined to glorify His name) then Trump will not be fatally hurt by an adverse result. In fact it might get him even more support.

Yep. Real big stretch on damaging the brand. If anything Trump can prove the brand is worth more than when the contract was signed. The debate ratings are proof enough.

What does ANY of this have to do with the resources of Univision? I said NOTHING in favor of illegal immigration.
