So the folks who said that Trump's "12 point drop" was due to the holidays, well, you were right. Trump back up to 36 percent, though Reuters is still using small sample sizes in comparison from before the holidays. Only 360 people polled this time.

Sample size is very small. MOE must be 4-5%.

Carson has the idiot “we gotta be nice!” voters, who also were probably excited about voting for a conservative black guy. I remember reading articles with anecdotes about Carson supporters going to Rubio. What that tells me is that these people are stupid, and also that they’ll just spread out to everybody.
That’s the best scenario for Trump, however. The splitter strategy the GOPe created, putting out all these candidates, was supposed to weaken the conservative candidate. Instead, it’s weakening the GOPe.
