Radio host Glenn Beck said Tuesday that Donald Trump acts like the radical community organizer Saul Alinsky.
"He is Saul Alinsky," Beck insisted of the GOP presidential front-runner on his radio broadcast.
"[Trump] will isolate you and polarize you and he will take you out," Beck said. "He will destroy you. "He is spending money with Tea Party groups and churches and news websites to own them," the conservative pundit added.
Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals" has inspired controversy over its principles on income inequality, politics and social justice.
Beck argued that the Republican establishment threatens Trump's lead in the polls at its own peril.
"[The GOP] is making themselves a horrible, horrible bed [if they] run campaigns against him," he said of Trump.
Beck said alienating Trump could prompt the businessman to run as a third party presidential candidate next year -- something that could benefit Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton.
"What are the odds that he is a spoiler?" Beck asked of Trump. "What are the odds that he got into this because he's friends with the Clintons and he'll get a massive payback?
"Can you imagine if Hillary Clinton gets in because he ran third party?" he continued. "Do you know the favor they're going to owe him?"
Beck additionally suggested that Trump's policy stances "make no sense."
"He doesn't believe the things that he's saying," he said of the New York business mogul, citing his immigration rhetoric.
Trump has repeatedly warned the Republican National Committee he'll consider a third party run if it does not treat him fairly.
He’s in it to win it.
Who else is going to beat Hillary?
Yeb!?
BTTT
Sometime in late 2010, with the big Tea Party rally in DC, Beck decided to do his own "Restore" rally. It was huge, but I remember thinking how it really screwed the TP people. Our rally fizzled, busses full of people canceled. I had gone there to sell books, and it was very sparse.
We met again in NYC when I approached him with a programming idea for the new TV network he was setting up. I got the brush off, but figured it was just due to the huge expense of the undertaking. He was already under the influence of David Barton, who began guest hosting his shows and shaping his content. Needless to say, Barton didn't have much of a place for me. The last time I was on his show, the "pre interview" clearly wanted me to state a bunch of historical "lessons" that were not true. I didn't play along ( a lot of kumbaya stuff, can't we all get along).
I got one more request to support his attempt to take the medals away from US cavalry troopers who fought at Wounded Knee. Again, I said the evidence wasn't clear that the cavalry was wrong. Some Indians had guns. Again, wrong answer. Haven't heard from him since.
That guy really pegs my creep-O-meter.
Thanks for your reply. Now that I’ve thought about it, it seems like Beck really started to change once David Barton started appearing more on his show.
IMO, Beck was must see TV when he was exposing Soros, the Fabians and all the other associated dirtbag Lefties but then he suddenly veered into religion, MLK, Ghandi and turn the other cheek. All this time I’d thought it was because of his association with the Huntsmans’, but David Barton entering the picture makes a lot of sense.
I could be completely wrong about Mr. Barton, but I always felt there wasn’t something quite right about him, and it’s not the least bit comforting to know how close he is to Ted Cruz. Anyone interested just has to Google ted Cruz + David Barton to see, so don’t ask me for links.
Anyway, thanks for your reply.

I remember in 2010 here in Orlando Beck had an interview with Bud Hedinger (540 am WFLA) and Hedinger asked Beck if he was coming to Orlando for the tea party event. Beck seemed a bit noncommital and now I think it is because he had his own plans. I loved all his shows on Fox but after he left, he was very diffused and all over the place.
And Glen Beck is Clarabelle.
From Headline news to Fox Beck was solid then when he off his own he totally lost it sometimes he’s ok but still no where near he once was which is a shame.
Why, of course, because nobody could believe such absurd unbelievable things...that's why Trump's getting 1/3 of the Republican vote. Millions are just pretending to believe these crazy things...like the idea that our immigration laws should be enforced and our border finally secured. Sure, Mr. Mind Reader Beck. Keep letting us know how out-of-touch you are with the conservative base.
In my opinion, Beck has always been an idiot. His attacks on Dutch patriot Geert Wilders is actually a reason that I came out of a long period as a lurker to start posting on this site over 5 years ago. Thank God he's no longer on Fox News at least.
And he knows this....how?
Now I get it - if Beck says something (even a baseless opinion) that agrees with your own meme, he can be used as a reference. When he says something you don't like, it's OK to discount him. How---political.
One might ask how he "knew" that we'd be much worse off if McPain had been elected too.
I haven’t listen to beck, nor used any of his media sites since he sold out on the Bundy Ranch stand off.
If you knew anything about me, you would know I’ve said that multiple times in the past. Obviously you don’t.
Maybe you can, since you seem to share his views on this, answer my original question.
Get back on your meds and stop bringing teddie bears to illegals.
But you did have a comment from him in your original "melange" of a post.
Maybe time to update the cut/paste work.
At any rate, I won't bother you again.
????
You mean the quote from the article posted above?
I can’t believe that this nutjob is still on the airwaves anywhere. His family needs to have him committed before he finally blows his cork in public.
Must be a busy day, down in the basement. That’s the best you could come up with??
Neither is Beck or you.
I think Beck completely lost it when he thought he had a(nother) big scoop, after the Boston bomber. He put his entire, life long career/reputation on having a big “stay tuned...we’ll have a BIG, BREAKING NEWS story” on something that never materialized.
He went crazier and crazier, after that.
