Now it appears some among the Climate Summit's host-nation French media were just as outraged by Barack Obama's glaringly ignorant commentary regarding how mass shootings only happen in the United States - and said those words while standing on a stage in Paris less than two weeks after that city saw hundreds of its citizens gunned down and blown up by Muslim terrorists in a mass shooting attack.

It is said that following what was at times a painfully slow, slouching, and seemingly disinterested performance by President Obama, some among the French media were heard repeatedly using the words, "Connard! and Trouduc!" to describe their feelings regarding Mr. Obama's bizarre commentary - phrases rather specific to a certain part of the human anatomy.

As I recall, the French and all of Western Europe were WILDLY, WILDLY, WILDLY ecstatic when Obama was first elected.

1) It was more that they were glad that Bush was finally out.

2) Most Frenchmen probably didn't care. Just like here, the media and the politically active aren't necessarily a representation of what the average person thinks.

It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools, such as those who made him their president.

I hated Bill Clinton also, but the fact that a half-wit like Obama could get into the White House, whether legitimately or illegitimately, has made me not just disgusted with the administration, but the entire state of our political parties, our government, and our dumbed-down populace. A snake oil salesman like Clinton could bamboozle some honest people, but only a corrupt, degenerate country full of selfish, drooling morons could allow an Obama into office.

Better late than never, I guess. But then, I don't know much about French politicians either except they have to be bad and suicidal, having let 7 million or more Muslims emigrate in to infest that once fair country. Pretty soon the place is going to resemble the Iraq Sunni Triangle prior to the Surge.
