Scarborough: Megyn Kelly 'Vicious,' Attacked Trump 'Like Rachel Maddow'

Here at NewsBusters, we usually reserve popcorn-popping for times when Democrats are scrapping among themselves. But in this strange political season, it looks like we could be in for some Orville Redenbacher moments among Republicans, too. On today's Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough mentioned having watched some of Megyn Kelly's Fox News show last night and that Kelly was "vicious" in going after Donald Trump. In the unkindest cut of all, Scarborough said Kelly "sounded like Rachel Maddow." View the video of Scarborough's statement, followed by clips from last night's Kelly File. You'll see that Megyn doesn't crack the slightest smile when Steve Hayes describes Trump as akin to "a dog with diarrhea." And a skeptical Kelly is all over Roger Stone when he attempts to defend Trump.

can’t watch FOX... if they’d quit covering Ozero, he’d be irrelevant. A true conservative news outlet would have legitimate discussions, not play the libs talking points and call it “fair and balanced”

Megyn Kelly can't get over Trump made a fool of her. I don't know how these "news" outlets write their contracts, but I am sure there is a clause that lets them end their contract if the anchorette goes nuts. This braod has extreme TDS.

I'd call it something else other than TDS, but I would be banned as being sexist.

In any event, she's vicious and anyone who crosses her is in trouble. She demolished these two guests because they wouldn't attack Trump in the way she wanted, even though they are not his supporters!

It won't be long before Fox will have to compete with CNN in $$$ to keep her.

I was done with Kelly in 2012 election when she lead us down hall way after Rove told her not to call Ohio (I think it was) for Obama. Fox showed her all the way down when counts come in…..anyone else remember that??? I knew then she was closet Dems……..

At the end of the segment, Kelly seemingly warned Trump about what she planned to do to him at the upcoming debate: "We see this happen, we see this happen a lot, you run for president, man, they will go after everything."

"Well ... I didn't think he would fight back against me ... I mean, I'm Megyn(!) Kelly!"
