Cruz's plan does NOT call for deportation for all illegals. Cruz is only talking about "criminal" aliens, those who have committed other crimes besides coming in illegally. That's why it's not a contradiction when Cruz tells folks that there will be a "conversation" about what to do with them later; it's perfectly obvious that his plan doesn't deal with the question.
FreeReign has no clue what Cruz's position is and doesn't care one way or the other anyway. All FreeReign wants is to fool you whatever way he can to protect Cruz. It's kind of like how Roman Catholics will still defend the Pope and come up with whatever excuses that will work when he does stupid stuff, like declaring atheists might be getting into heaven.
It is very hard to know what “Cruz’s position is” since he changes his positions often.
It's slippery lawyer jargon, which is exactly what we don't want at this critical time. Such lawyerly wordsmanship allows a future loophole to have "conversations" about whether or not to deport those here illegally - even IF the southern border is secured with an impenetrable physical barrier.
It troubles me that Ted isn't speaking in Reaganesque "bold colors" on this, the most serious issue the nation faces, but chooses instead to employ the "pale pastels" of the GOP-e.
I'm sorry, but it makes me nervous.
