Down 12 Points, Trump Has Biggest Poll-to-Poll Decline in Months

Is Trump-mentum finally slowing down? While this is only one poll and the GOP establishment is still in panic mode over Trump's continued lead, a Reuters/Ipsos survey released Friday shows the GOP frontrunner lost 12 points in less than a week, "his largest single poll-to-poll drop since he took the primary lead in July," The Hill reports.

The rolling poll, which was conducted from Nov. 23 to Nov. 27, still has the real estate mogul at the top, finding favor among 31 percent of Republicans. However, support for Trump is down from a peak of 43 percent, which was registered on Nov. 22.

Reuters points to some of his recent controversial remarks, which may be to blame for the drop.

The dip follows criticism of Trump for comments he made in the aftermath of the Nov. 13 Paris attacks that killed 130 people and wounded hundreds more.

Following the attacks, Trump told an NBC News reporter that he would support requiring all Muslims within the United States to be registered to a special database, which his critics have likened to the mandatory registration of Jews in Nazi Germany.

Trump has also been criticized for flailing his arms and distorting his speech as he mocked a New York Times reporter, Serge Kovaleski, who is disabled.

Trump mocked the reporter as he defended his unsubstantiated assertion that during the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks on the United States, he watched on television as "thousands and thousands" of people in New Jersey cheered while the World Trade Center fell.

But it wasn't only Trump who slipped in the poll. Ben Carson also dropped with only 15 percent of Republicans saying they'd support him.

At more than 8 percent, Sens. Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz tied for third place, followed by Gov. Jeb Bush, who came in at 7 percent.

Sorry, but the writer could have spent a few minutes to get her facts straight. Then she would have nothing left.

Just because a writer paints him/herself as “conservative” doesn’t excuse him/her from getting the facts straight. Or does it, as long as it attacks a candidate they don’t like?

“It only the girly men and feminazis that think Trump boorish and arrogant. The rest of us see him as a man proud of what he has accomplished and defending himself when attacked.”

Exactly!

There is nothing wrong with being successful and being proud of one’s work and accomplishment. That’s how the US used to be. Only the PC girly-men and feminazis have made it a crime to work hard, do well, and take pride in one’s country.

Trump is bringing back that it’s ok to be successful. The entire country needs this lesson!

“Trump puts on a good show and unfortunately that’s apparently what a substantial number of voters want - a good show - doesn’t matter how liberal he is on numerous issues.”

I wonder if you’re being purposely obtuse.

Trump is the ONLY candidate willing to enforce existing laws and deport illegals. The ONLY one.

Therefore all the others are for amnesty. If they get to stay it is amnesty no matter what it is called or how the tap dance is done.

He’s the ONLY candidate not taking the liberal amnesty position, yet you say he’s not conservative. LOL! Reality is just the opposite.

When you really think about it, the left is advocating failure over success no doubt because when millions espouse failure over success they become easy suckers for government programs to bail them out.

Could not agree more.

Meanwhile Hillary is running around for president with a serial rapist husband and crickets.

She has committed so many felonies and more crickets.

Ridiculous what they are trying to do with there fly swatters going after Trump. Simply absurd.

I hope they continue to do it, as he will fight back, and expose more of their duplicity. Just like he commented on ISIS chopping heads off, he will start to ask questions directly to them about why they let their favorites slide.. That’s 4th quarter stuff, and we aren’t even at halftime yet, but he’s slowly showing his power game.

It also does not hurt for Trump to have 5 million strong subscribers on Twitter helping him as a rapid response team against these ridiculous media assaults. That helps Trump a lot.

Don’t forget that he is increasing his subscription rate at over 10,000 per day. This is how you neutralize the media.

The media says there were no muzzies celebrating after 9-11 and thousands of Trump supporters say they saw them. End of discussion.

As I said having 5 million supporters ready to help helps Trump a lot. By next February he should be up to 7 million.

Yup, the Alinsky plan. Or is that Cloward-Pivan. I think they are similar, both ways to take over a country. We are probably 75% there :(

I see nothing boorish and arrogant about Trump.

That's about all I see in this video of Trump. He has the audience in the palm of his hand because arrogance is his gimmick and he is a showman.

Yikes. "Have you ever asked for forgiveness?" the interviewer asks. "That's a tough question," is his answer.

Handwriting, wall, folks.

Steve Jobs, or a Bill Gates. They are all like Trump.

Except they are worth a whole helluva lot more than Trump -- Gates is worth twenty times more than Trump. The most successful billionaire real estate mogul whom you've never heard of because he is so different from Trump, is worth four times more than Trump, and he was a Marine. Trump took four deferments to avoid military service.

Trump is the way he is because he has always been in a position to get away with it and/or be rewarded for it. McCain attacked him. What does Trump do? Does he attack McCain's flawed politics? No, he whines and "defends" himself by basically saying a POW is not really a war hero because he got captured ("I like people that weren't captured," Trump quips to laughter).

I knew a man fairly well who was a survivor of the Bataan Death March. I would like for Trump to tell that to his family.

Trump is a cad.

It only the girly men and feminazis that think Trump boorish and arrogant.

The behavior of a candidate's supporters speaks volumes about the candidate.

My mother is an anti-feminist who is disgusted with the current move to feminize boys. She thinks Trump is a boor and arrogant.

And she is correct.

Ha. I really like Trump. Some of that like may be because people I don’t like can’t stand him. The Media hates him. The Left hates him. Huffpo, et al hate him. They will hate anyone not running for the Dem nom. The Republican Establishment hates him...and the pious right hates him. I don’t know what’s to hate about a successful businessman who isn’t a politician but heh they all hate him.

I like him. He has my vote. He’s the only one saying what I want to be said and getting the media coverage saying it.

I’ll vote for him in the primary, not that it matters since by the time my state votes it’s already decided, and in the general. I’ll vote for whomever the republican nom is in the general because unlike some I don’t think that taking my ball and going home when things don’t work out my way is the best way to live life nor do I think those who do vote that way are somehow superior in any way. Actually, I think they are morons and the reason Conservatives can’t win elections.

All this hand wringing and voting one’s conscience cracks me up. This candidate doesn’t 100% agree with me on these issues so I’m gonna take my ball and go home and let a Democrat, any Democrat win the Presidency...yeah that makes sense for our issues. RME
