Hajji Ghalib did just what the American military feared he would after his release from the Guantanamo bay prison camp: He returned to the afghanistan battlefield.
But rather than worrying about Mr. Ghalib, the Americans might have considered encouraging him. Lean and weather-beaten, he is now leading the fight against the Taliban and the Islamic state across a stretch of eastern Afghanistan.
His effectiveness has led to appointments as the Afghanistan government's senior representative in some of the country's most war-ravaged districts. ...
The American military sometimes supports his men with airstrikes -- although Mr. Ghalib complains that there are too few bombers and drones for his taste.

Had to look the name up :)

Great movie. Great, underrated actor.
Fantastic in Magnificent Seven.

as it has protected Hasan and released criminals
to kill again, and again, and again.
Leave it to the Slimes to find the one Gitmo detainee who returned to Jihad against other Muslims instead of the West, and give him the Che Guevara treatment.
I trust them less than Pravda at this point, that’s how bad they are.

You should see him in “Hard Times”.
That was my immediate reaction as well.
