The Supreme Court has just issued an order (read it here) blocking the racially discriminatory separatist election in Hawaii. The order enjoins (stops) the counting of ballots and certification of results pending further order of the Supreme Court. I covered the electionhere and here at PJ Media.
Only one race is permitted to register to vote with Hawaiian government officials for the separatist election.Hawaii has given a private organization millions of dollars to run the election. They believe these actions are constitutional. Judicial Watch has sued Hawaii, and the Public Interest Legal Foundation has filed an emergency brief with the Supreme Court on behalf of the American Civil Rights Union asking the court to stop the election process. (I was on the brief.)
This morning Justice Kennedy, writing for the court, did so and issued an injunction.
Interests on Hawaii are attempting to set up a new government representing the "colonized" native Hawaiians. They do not view American sovereignty as legitimate. Naturally, the Obama administration took their side and filed a brief supporting the racially discriminatory election. They argued that even though Congress has never authorized a new government on Hawaii comprised of the native race, the state should be allowed to establish one.
In 2000, the Supreme Court struck down similar schemes but did not directly have a racially discriminatory election before it because the election had already occurred.
And only 3% speak Native Hawaiian.
My sister, a Germanic Caucasian who loved the place since her first visit, teaches Hawaiian language classes to natives.
I don't see the down-side. We get rid of one of the most left-leaning states and our Marxist president. And I say that as someone who graduated from high school and college in Hawaii (but I wasn't born there, so I am not a Native).
Funny you should ask.... Back in 2008 when some of us were already doing research into the origins of our leader we came across a land scheme run by the state. IIRC you were given some land or maybe had to pay a very small amount. But the kicker was in the qualifications. You had to be a “native” or a natural born Hawaiian to qualify. And in order to “prove” that you had to produce your LFBC as opposed to your CLB. We researchers locked onto that because people were claiming the CLB was the same as the LFBC. When that went viral they pulled the website.
Obama is NOT a natural born Citizen regardless of your little hypothetical. His father was a British subject.
This is the same Baraqqi administration which says that states are powerless to resist Federal mandates to accept 'refugees'. If liberals didn't have double standards, they'd have no standards at all.
ARE YOU EFFFING KIDDING ME!??!??!
WHEN WE TRY TO STOP VOTER FRAUD, WE'RE CALLED "RACISTS"!!!!
BUT WHEN THE LEFT ONLY ALLOWS ONE RACE TO VOTE, THEY ARE "TOLERANT"!!!!!
JEEBUS, WE NEED TO RID THIS PLANET OF THE INSANITY OF LIBERALS!!!!!
Elaborate please?
You are precisely right, in their view the law is always flexible to benefit their views.
Thanks for the ping.
I wonder how a Hawaii not on the Fed.gov welfare teat would survive. I remember O’Reilly did a piece on the high numbers of Hawaiians on food stamps and other federal government programs.
I guess they want a form of political independence but still take advantage of federal programs.
Well said! You nailed it, Laz.
We can’t put a dent in voter fraud because of libs (Holder and now Lynch) in the DOJ and the lower federal court let this racist sham of an election proceed.
Decent words fail me in situations like this.
Just gonna have to send the Haole population out another way...
Oh, hell no.
I live in Hawaii (Maui). I have encountered nothing but friendliness.
Hawaii has benefited greatly, enormously, by being a State and most people here are well aware of that.
This is a nutcase fringe.
There is an active Republican party here trying to oust the corrupt dems but it’s an uphill battle.
Most people here are not political.
Ping
Now why would Hawaii want to be independent? Is someone who is about to leave office about to move there in a 30 million dollar palace of sorts? uh.... yeah.
Nullificarum!!!!
