In a letter this week, the Office of Refugee Resettlement threatens states concerned about resettling Syrians with punitive responses if they refuse to accept the refugees. ORR explains that states may not refuse ORR-funded benefits for refugees on the basis of religion and national origin.
“Accordingly, states may not categorically deny ORR-funded benefits and services to Syrian refugees,†ORR Director Robert Carey wrote in the letter. “Any state with such a policy would not be in compliance with the State Plan requirements, applicable statutes, and their own assurances, and could be subject to enforcement action, including suspension and termination.â€

A constitutional convention needs to take domestic power out of Washington DC! Let the federal government concentrate on providing for a common defense and a currency.

Then Terminate us and withhold all Fed $$$ to each state. Meaning maybe most of our WELFARE Queens will move out.
That would also mean WE do not send money to them, or pay Income TAX. Logical thought would conclude this. What can they do to the states, NOTHING other than the above.

Were I a Governor of a State within these United States I’d tell the BASTARD to shove it where the Sun doesn’t shine, and see what he thinks he can do about it next.
Lets have at it. Obama’s been itching for a fight so let’s give it to him. States, stand up to this dictator who has no legitimate authority in most of what he does including this unconstitutional refusal to repel this invasion.
You, the states, are within your rights to withstand unconstitutional federal treason of refusing to repelling this invasion (Art I, Sec 8, Cl 15) at the hands of Obama. You, the states, have every right to defend yourselves, especially if the feds refuse their constitutional duty to do so.
I look at it this way: Obama is threatening to spend less on welfare programs.
Call me crazy, but I’m simply not seeing a negative here.
Cannot the Congress vote to defund the “Office of Refugee Resettlement” until it can vouch for every last refugee it seeks to place in the US? And I mean DEFUND it! No more mamby pamby from the Congress.

The power of federal law enforcement is mostly based on the idea that almost all of the people will not resist. The guy who spams us with the “How can a handgun stop an army” post is right.
The government needs us to pay taxes. The Corporatists need our labor. The Globalists need our consumer habits. The government has to back down to keep the Elites happy.
We refuse.
How about the states just refuse to send their tithings to the federals? What are they going to do, prohibit flights into and out of states that don’t comply, not return some of the tithings back to the states, not let Citizens use public property in the states, not let Veterans and Citizens into memorials? Maybe this will be the straw that broke the citizens backs with Lord Foul!
