While Americans celebrate Thanksgiving, Putin in his own style, sent a gift to the Turkmen who killed his pilot: hell, fire and brimstone coming from all directions; land, air and sea.
Decimate - to kill every tenth individual in a group.
You need to use a different word in keeping with the context of your post ...
I suggest “annihilate,” “obliterate” or “exterminate” would be the more appropriate choice.
I would go with “exterminate” - since Musloids are less than vermin ... Musloids are less than cockroaches, lower than maggot feces. In fact, I would say that the common bacteria found in a pile of pig dung are more deserving of life than any Musloid on the planet.
Putin was a colonel in the KGB ... You might want to research that a bit before conferring sainthood upon the man.
“Youâve heard of the Peter principle. Itâs bad enough, but Obama represents the pussy principle.”
And the Turkmen in Syria are finding out about the Putin Principle.
"Meanwhile at the White House, BO runs to lock the doors and hide because someone jumped over the fence wearing an American flag."LOL! And perfectly true!
“The sooner we disabuse ourselves of this silly notion the better.
Yes, as General Curtis LeMay said: “If you kill enough of them, they will quit fighting.”
You might want reread my post before imagining things I didn’t say and didn’t do.
PS: Thank you for informing me of Putin’s past KGB history. Had I not been aware of and discussing it with people on FR and elsewhere since his first stint heading Russia, I’d surely be surprised.
Thank you WTFOVR,
Finally someone who is not totally hypnotized by Putin!
I just can’t trust the guy. I only support his actions against sunni islamic terrorists, evidently who wouldn’t. But, I am not forgetting he is a strong supporter of the iranian Mullahs... a hardcore Sharia-gang with soon to be nuclear capability.
I don’t think you’ll find many people that disagree with that here.
I can applaud Putin doing this. And I still don’t have to like him. I can hold two opposing thoughts in my head. I refuse to join his fan club and post girly-man photos of him running around showing off his stocky Russian bod. Hope he kills them all.
I visited Russia on business 15 years ago. Went to their most advanced optical facility -- one that made the optics for their satellites.
The most striking thing I learned was that the head of this company was really more concerned with meeting his quota for cabbages than with any scientific advances. (They were grown on the land around the factory.) Not that their science was bad, but the penalties for not feeding his workers were severe.
At that time, at least, it was a different and very foreign world over there.
Russia also wants the price of oil to go up.
Their moves in the M.E. may ultimately help them immensely if it really gets destabilized.
State owned company?
It does appear that Russia is taking the steps necessary to both make it clear that their leaders don’t take kindly to having their jets shot down, while at the same taking the needed to steps to prevent escalation.
I am amazed daily that all the pix of Shirtless Vlad and the Wonderbears is/are taken so seriously. You do realize that it’s just humor? No one actually thinks Vlad is a great guy to have over for dinner with the wife and kids? You do right?

It’s simply people using humor to illustrate how pathetic our president is in comparison.

And just so you know, Vlad Putin, to my knowledge, never disd ride a bear in the Bear Calvary, have a Superman S tattooed on his chest or any of the rest. Photoshop is a thing now.
But if you want to see hero worship done seriously with Superman S’s and all that, just check a Trump thread. You are bound to find some.
Trump is like Truman - and the elites thought ill of him as well.
Well then surely you have examples of people genuinely supporting the full KGB Putin complete with political killing, and the rest. Because you have to base such conviction on something a bit more substantial than photoshopped pictures, right?
Yes. There is a difference between seeing the Russians practicing on bad guys what they have always been good at, and being a shill for him and wanting to vote him in as President.
Turkmen are also one ethnic group in Iran. Mostly live in Northeastern Iran (farther away from Turkey). But true, they are ethnically Turkic.
I don’t think people are celebrating Russia’s powerful moves...I think it is actually deep envy. We all wish we had a real president instead of a fake, 1960s peacenik throwback clutching a Nobel a Peace Prize to his bosom.
