Pope says Christian-Muslim dialogue 'essential' for peace

Pope Francis told Christian and Muslim leaders in Kenya on Thursday that they have little choice but to engage in dialogue to guard against the "barbarous" Islamic extremist attacks that have struck Kenya recently, saying religious leaders must be "prophets of peace" in a world sown by hatred.

On his first full day in Africa, Francis insisted that religion can never be used to justify violence and lamented that "all too often, young people are being radicalized in the name of religion to sow discord and fear, and to tear at the very fabric of our societies."

He said interfaith dialogue isn't a luxury or optional, but is simply "essential." ...

“The Pope needs to find a copy of the Koran, pronto.”

Has he read either the historical books of the old Testament or the Book of Revelation?

The guy is out of his mind and spiritually deceived; it is utterly impossible to have a "dialog" with Muslims or with Islam because the primary tenets of their theology views ALL non-Muslims as infidels who must either be converted to Islam by choice or by force; be subjugated and enslaved by/to Muslim "master's" and subject to Sharia law; or murdered for their differing faith, or lack thereof. And once you "convert" to Islam... there is no going back on pain of death!

This so-called "pope" is a fool and I pity the multitudes of people around the globe who are foolish enough to willingly submit themselves to his delusional, Marxist, "liberation theology"; "COEXIST" Kumbaya, "spiritual leadership".

It is impossible to "dialog" or "COEXIST" with savages who want to cut your head off; blow you to bits; burn you alive; slit your throat; conquer and enslave you and your family; exterminate you; sell your daughters and wives into sexual slavery; mutilate your daughter's and wive's female gentiles... the list of grotesque, horrors; all done in the name of Islam and their blood thirsty moon god "allah" is never ending. And the "pope" wants to "dialog" with them! To quote Bugs Bunny: "What a MAROON,"

Does he mean a dialog like St Nicholas Tavelich had?

On November 11, 1391, he entered the Turkish mosque and with the zeal of a Saint Paul preached to a vast assembly there. He pleaded with tact and eloquence that Christ and His religion be accepted by the Turks in their hearts and homes. Before he had finished, he was apprehended and taken to the magistrates.

Questioned as to his faith, Nicholas joyfully professed his belief in the one true Church of Christ, defending it against every objection. This incensed the court to such an extent that he was knocked to the ground and attacked with great fury. Beaten almost to death, he was dragged into a dungeon, chained hand and foot, and kept for three days without food or drink.

On the fourth day he was taken out into the street, where he died the glorious death of a martyr, slashed to pieces with scimitars. God glorified His martyr by miracles, and Pope Leo XIII solemnly confirmed the veneration paid to him from time immemorial.

At the risk of sounding like an Internet Tough Guy, this is the only dialogue I want to have.

1: “Get out of my country. Now.”

And, failing that:

2: “WHERE IS YOUR GOD NOW?!” BOOM.

So, if I have this right, and can take this story to the bank, the dialog ended almost exactly, 2015 minus 1391 equals, six hundred twenty four years ago.

Why isn’t the Pope calling for greater evangelization of Muslims?

Is he calling for greater Christian - Pagan dialogue, too?

Matthew 28: 18-20

Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

There will be peace when Muslims recognize the right of others not to be Muslim without being punished or killed for it.

Show me just what Muhammad brought that was new and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached.

Okay, the Pope was only quoting, but it’s a start.
