plowing into the World Trade Center, law enforcement authorities detained and questioned a number of people who were allegedly seen celebrating the attacks and holding tailgate-style parties on rooftops while they watched the devastation on the other side of the river.

Yes, I know about the report of Muslims in New Jersey but that was a written or oral report, not a film and Trump said he “saw” them. Also, the written/oral report did not say there were “thousands” of them as Trump said.

Plus, that written/oral report of law enforcement said they were questioning “people” (didn’t say they were Muslim), said “allegedly” seen celebrating the attack so there was no eye witness to that - it was just reported, not seen.

Trump is not careful in his speech to make sure he has the actual facts and he exaggerates to make his point. As I said, that exaggeration is okay in his real estate dealings, but not for a president who we need to be able to trust he is giving us the truth and nothing but the truth without exaggeration making it false.
