McDonald runs towards one police cruiser while brandishing a knife, a 2nd cruiser rolls up, cop steps out walks towards McDonald and proceeds to shoot him 16 times.

yeah, in post #46 I describe an incident I saw on Drugs Inc about a guy on PCP.
They seem completely oblivious to pain.
When you watch the video you'll see there was no threat.
What makes you think the police officer feared for his life?
You'll have your answer.
There used to be a youtube video.
I don't know if the numbers are sequential in the order they were fired, but entry wound #1 is a head shot and the entry/exit pair for #2 is right through the base of his neck.
It's hard to tell what exactly transpired there on the street without correlating the instant each of the 16 bullets were fired with the perp's pirouette in the street before he fell.
Yep
About 3-4 seconds.
>> Good let them burn the place down
A few months of “wilding” feral urban animals will provide an interesting and useful backdrop for the 2016 election.
You can see the glint from the knife - I think it is quite a bit longer than 3-inches. I was thinking it was a long kitchen knife when I first saw the glints.
The cruiser is driving for almost 4 minutes. So a few minutes of police/ knife guy confrontation and radio time, plus 4 minutes - so who knows what was going on in those 5+ minutes.
But I agree, the guy is walking away, fenced along one side to prevent his escape. He did seem to slightly turn towards the cops.
As much as these thugs need to pay the price, with their lives if required, it was pretty sad to seem him on the ground still moving and not getting any assistance. I wonder what the proper protocol is?
Reminds me of the 911 call from a hunter.
“Help, I just shot by buddy by accident - I think I killed him - what should I do!?”
“Stay calm sir, are you sure he is dead?”
Over the phone a gun shot is heard “Okay - I’m sure, now what?”
16 bullet holes does not always equate to being shot 16 times. For example, a single bullet can go through an arm, through part of the torso, and through the other arm, to create what appear to be six bullet holes. More typically, an entrance and exit wound from the same bullet are thought at first glance to be from two bullets.
This being said, many police departments have “if you have to shoot, empty your gun into them” policies.
McCarthy talks about himself and how he âlives a Forest Gump type of existenceâ¦. just floating aroundâ where ever he goes, before going on to make some alarming statements. Some of the video highlights can be seen at these points in the footage after McCarthy gets a little excited about speaking on the pulpit.
(4:30) âThereâs something about this pulpit here, âcause Iâm feeling strong!â
(5:02) âIâm gonna take a risk here, this is definitely the right audienceâ¦. everybody is afraid of race, Iâm not afraidâ¦.â
(5:42) ââ¦. In 2011 we are talking about gangs and guns and drugs and what we are going to do to fix itâ¦. A big component of this has to due with raceâ¦. letâs see if we can make a connection hereâ¦. Slavery, segregation, black codes, Jim Crowâ¦. What do they all have in common? Anybody getting scared? Government sponsored racismâ¦. I told you I wasnât afraidâ
(7:28) âThe NRA does not like me, and Iâm okay with that! â¦. Whoâs going to pay the price? Of the Gun manufacturers getting rich and living in gated communities?â
(7:53) He tells a homicide story, then blastâs Sarah Palin for talking about the right to bear arms while hunting Caribou and not being there at the scene of the crime with him.
And finally after this long winded slightly incoherent speech at (9:42), McCarthy hands back the live microphone to Pfleger, which picks up one last comment from McCarthy: âIâm gonna get in trouble.â
What would make Superintendent McCarthy think he is going to get into trouble? After all, he was in the ârightâ place, speaking to the ârightâ audienceâ¦. Wasnât he?
You never use a taser in a deadly force situation. You only use a taser to subdue a perp in a non-deadly force situation.
See post #71. It’s apparent from the video alone that he was highly agitated and / or intoxicated.
HTRN take on this:
It is an atmosphere (chosen) in which nobody seems to be in the slightest interested in either (1) forgiving anyone or (2) being helpful to anyone, except their little cliques.
I.e. it is a hunk of hell.
In an older day when being Christian actually meant sensing God imbuing one’s life with love and caring, something would doubtless be happening under the table at this point. Maybe the police would be taking up a fund to help the family and their wives would be visiting with food, etc. And the family would actually be grateful in turn at the gestures in their time of genuine need. Nobody would be talking about blame and maybe even not about suing and criminal charges.
This is now considered passe, with the prides and courts and litigation of men at the uppermost of everyone’s mind, meaning even more than taking a chance for God.
And HTRN’s take: God is going to let this keep on right a-going until people begin to get a dull clue that they miss Him.
Thanks. That’s the one.
If this happened on a college campus the president of the school would’ve already been forced to step down. So how come Rahm Satan-is-with-us is being hounded to resign?
I am definitely a supporter of law enforcement, and have many relatives in the field. That being said, this video looks very, very bad. The guy is laying still after being shot, and after several seconds go by a ricochet off of the pavement can be seen next to the subject. That several second pause is damning.
