The fact is that anthropogenic warming of the atmosphere is real.

The biggest problem is that include the urban warming in the global temperature calculation. They do not correct for urbanization in any way. There is in fact no metadata whatsoever that tells the algorithm how much urbanization has taken place. They simply spread that extra warming into neighboring stations and add it all up.

True. But the point is that even if our ‘artificial’ heat has any effect, it is really insignificant in the long run. Nothing we can do can match up to the power of the Sun (high sunspot activity, CME’s)
