Yup, if the GOPe plays cut throat theyâll get what the deserve. They don't have a clue what they are about to get themselves into if they plan a fight with Trump!

Trump, it seems is as thin skinned as BHO. If you can follow politics at all, and decide that's the lesson to be learned...man, 'clueless' doesn't even start to describe you.

Trump has assets of his own—He has friends in odd places. If things get bloody—they better take him out with the first shot because if they miss... It will be St. Valentines Day Massacre all over again. America is becoming a Banana Republic.
To: sparklite2
If he goes third party either Trump wins or Democrats win.
There's no way the GOPe comes out on top.
I don't think they really care. They seem to be very content being the minority party. All they want is a prez would will maintain the inside-the-beltway status quo. They may get a smaller share of the goodies as the minority, but they have been satisfied with that for decades.
If their own GOPe selectee can't get to the White House, they are very content with another Dem.
They play a good game of complaining that they can't do much -- without control of the House. They got that. Well, then, the Senate. They got that, too. But they really need the presidency, but are quite willing to go full force against the one or two contenders who might have a chance of winning the presidency.
A Trump 3rd Pary run may be just what the conservatives need to break their Battered Conservatives Syndrome attachment to the GOP. The GOP leadership has been against them for half a century -- since Goldwater ran, yet, the conservatives still hang on. If the party could have been reformed from the inside, it would have already been done. How many conservative nominees/presidents have the conservatives had in that half-century? ONE -- Reagan.

A reminder for everybody here that the further Trump gets into the Republican primary process, the more Republican primary ballots he qualifies for, the more the third party talk is just talk.
Because a large proportion of the states have sore loser laws. If you’ve run in a party’s primary, you can’t qualify for the general election ballot as an independent or as the nominee of another party.
Doesn’t matter if you’re a billionaire, the laws are the laws.
And in this particular game, there are fifty different sets of laws to deal with.

Thank you, EV, for bringing us back to earth. I do think Trump will stay on the R ticket. I just wouldn’t bet too big of a bet. Thanks, Rita

The GOPe seems determined to commit suicide.
Trump will gladly help them do so and rub their noses in it at the same time.
Go Trump!

If you do not support Jeb as the nominee then shut your mouth until you inform yourself of what is really going on. I will not comply! I will continue to engage myself in mostly civil discourse. I will not let any fascist Trumpet censor my grievances and drown out alternative viewpoints.
I find your manner obnoxiously rude and unbecoming. Further your fallacious use of the false dilemma is callow and infantile.

From what I remember of the past it looks like normal campaigning
And the Supreme Court says Super Pacs are Free Speech
But I can see why Trump wouldn’t like it because Democrats and Liberals don’t like it..
But I thought Trump is Teflon so what is he worried about ?

Maybe he might have a problem with them using his own name to christen the vehicle they’re planning to do it with.

Here is the deal. Trump will remain in first. People like him and nothing will knock him out. Cruz will land second. Should be interesting around here. I see Carson still viable and in 3rd as nobody else left that can surpass him. Fourth is Rubio the Gope choice.

When he actually deserves criticism.
He does not deserve it here and the only ones who would think he does are GOP shills.
Do you fit that description?

"Of course not, but I think you already knew that!"I have no reason to "already know that".
If their plan is sucsessful this is exactly what it would be. Jeb, Rubio, and Kasich picking our candidate. And of course it would be one of them. Because if they managed to take Trump down, GUESS WHAT, Cruz would be next on their list.
I would love to hear what you would have to say then.
