Rush Limbaugh stood up for the "great service" Donald Trump is doing by taking on the media.
"Trump is, I think, doing a great service," Limbaugh said on "Fox News Sunday." "He is showing that you do not have to fear attacks from media." "He's showing you do not have to fear being politically correct or violating political correctness," Limbaugh added. The radio host also weighed in on other 2016 candidates. He said Ben Carson is "one of the most decent human beings in the country," but not equipped to be president "at this stage."

The press can't ignore him because he is the news. Ignore him and no one reads or listens to you.
The press hates Trump and that is evidenced by how they lie about and smear and obfuscate everything he says and does.
I am a Cruz supporter first. But Cruz cannot resonate with the voters at this time.
But that doesn't mean that I have to hate Trump.
Trump didn't steal the show from Cruz. Cruz just doesn't resonate with the voters at this particular time.
Because of the immense disappointment at Cruz's failure, a few (really about 5 or 10) here at FR are blind to what Trump is actually doing. It's pretty remarkable when one is able to look at it without being blinded by disappointment and anger.
He's gonna win, so you may as well get used to it.
I read the phrase to mean that Trump’s candidacy is doing a great service, as a bonus to being the vehicle by which Trump is seeking the Presidency.
By being the anti-GOPe, and un-PC, the campaign is illustrating that GOPe and PC are unnecessary evils.
The way the MSM covers Trump produces two results, promotion of Trump on the Republican side and demotion of Trump on the Democrat side.
Cruz the conservative, they just want to ignore.
They are shooting for a Clinton beats Trump scenario.
And if Trump beats Clinton, then at least they have a president who would give an expedited over-and-back legalization amnesty for millions, universal health insurance coverage and a president who doesn't make mention of the principle of liberty.
It's the lack of msm coverage and the self full-filling prophecy produced by the msm paid-for push-polls that says Cruz the conservative can not resonate with the voters.
However, his very specific and direct comment that Obama was a threat to this country gives me a chance to say ....Two thumbs up Mr. Trump!!!!!!
"I mean, he must have some kind of a thing going on because, you know, when you see that he won't even call them by their name, attack after attack after attack."
"It's radical Islamic terrorism and he won't even acknowledge it - it's like they're coming out of Denmark or something,"
The MSM hates everyone but the Left. They hate Cruz just as they hate all our candidates.
Only liberals shift blame away from themselves. I am sure that Ted accepts full responsibility for his lack of resonance. It's not a fault, just a lack of fit at this particular time in history in the eyes of the voters.
Cruz doesn't resonate at this time because the voters perceive that someone else can better save the country at this time (and that is the driving issue...the country and our entire way of life are under attack).
Not in this story, it isn't. In both the Fox radio news "headlines" linked and this story in The Hill, even though Limbaugh had his highest praise for Cruz and in fact his praise for Trump was limited to how Trump handles himself with the media, Fox and The Hill and no doubt every other news outlet will spin this as All About Trump, when the reality is that Rush had far and away, no contest, the highest praise for Ted Cruz.
The MSM loves Trump's style, if not his political party -- his brash language and bombast gets them viewers. Trump's very status as a pop culture celebrity is 100% media crafted via his own self-promoting endeavors as a showman and an entertainer, successfully and skillfully pitching himself for about a decade as a brilliant businessman genius. That's great in a businessman and a showman.
In a president, it seriously risks electing a pure demagogue to the office.
Yep -- if anything, it's the opposite. The MSM, including so-called "right wing" MSM like Fox, is promoting Trump and ignoring Cruz.
The story linked at the thread and the link within it to the Hill, is a perfect illustration of promoting Trump and ignoring Cruz even though Cruz was obviously "the story."
The best-recognized "conservative" spokesman in America, Rush Limbaugh, had just about the warmest political praise for Cruz imaginable, describing him as "brilliant," "conservative through and through," and "trustworthy, strong, confident, leader, and somebody in whom you can totally depend" (sic).
That got pushed to the bottom of the story, though, even below mention of Carson! Instead, up at the top and taking the headline, was Rush's praise of Trump, said praise was expressly -- and severely -- limited to complimenting him on being politically incorrect with the media.
The handwriting is on the wall: Trump is a spoiler. God give more conservatives the eyes and the courage to read it.
Trump is their only chance to save Hillary and now he’s back to talking about a 3rd party run if he isn’t treated “fairly”.
Oh, look. It’s the Cruzette TrumpTroll twins jumping on a Trump thread to bash Trump, again.
Here’s our shocked face.
Maybe Cruz is their only chance to save your Queen Hellary.
Go find a Cruz thread to spew your cr@p on.
LOL pay backs are a mother ain’t they.
The historical GOP FRONTRUNNER Trump is the ONLY candidate not owned by PACs/Cheap Labor Express.
Go Trump!!!
LOL pay backs are a mother aiin’t they.
Not sure what or why you feel the need for ‘payback’.
SuperPACs been veddy veddy good to your guy. Hope your cut is worth it. Maybe that’s what you’re referring to. Lol.
Hope it doesn’t coincide with poll rankings and crowd sizes. Lol.
Now, go enjoy your Cruzette thread.
That's the problem with Cruz's plan, some of us recognize the weasel words of a politician when we see them.
Ah. I see. As opposed to recognizing the non-weasel words of a politician who signs a written pledge not to run 3rd party, and less than three months later, claims that he only signed the pledge with it being known that the pledge would be invalid if he decided that the GOP hadn't treated him "fairly."
Nothing written to that effect in the pledge he signed or mentioned in written reports when he signed it, nothing said that I can find as to what specifically constitutes "fair" in Trump's world. However he is certainly okay with eminent domain as a "fair" way to acquire private property for the profit of developers (their very success I guess in his mind meeting the standard of "for the public good"), and when he's called out on it by some group, claims the only reason they called him out was because he didn't donate to the group. Yes, that's actually what he did. You can't make this stuff up! Truth is stranger than fiction.
-- if that's Trump's idea of fair, then his signature of that pledge AT ALL is a prime example of "weasel words" in action.
More handwriting on the wall. Read it for America' sake.
You are arguing with a guy that defends lesser evil voting.
In short, a liberal.
Better to listen to the video yourself, note the time mark on the video where the conversation turns to the topic at hand, make a direct transcript of the words within that pertain to the argument, and post them WITH a link to the video.
Yes it takes more work, but one has to work for what one wants; if you want to convince FreeReign or anyone else, put the neccessary work into it.
Otherwise, zip credibility just saying "watch the videos." It's merely your word against another FReepers.
