Example of what could happen in the Presidential election, a fix that was in. America could be a communists dictatorship after 2016. Better watch out, King Obama is fixing the voting with illegal plants and double or triple voting.

Do the wealthier candidates usually win there?
It SEEMS to be that way, especially in the larger elections.

[and touts his family’s deep religious faith and ties to the church]

OK, that part made me laugh.

John Bel Edwards is pro-gun and pro-life and being a military vet looked good on his resume.

GOP voters simply deserted Vitter. Even GOP parishes went for Edwards.

Louisiana has a long (or is it “Long”?) history of Democrat governors coming from WAY behind and still taking the race. Of course, until fairly recently, there were only Democrats running against Democrats, so that is not perhaps a fair assessment of the current situation.

But this peculiar situation of the Democrat being both a more respectable and more conservative candidate for the office than the Republican puts a rather different cast on things.

Is this a test case by the national Democrat party to try out the conservative/libertarian philosophy? If the name of the game is to win elections, and not necessarily to push a reform (or deform, as the case may be) agenda, and the national Republicans seem not to have ANY agenda other than field a candidate, any candidate, in each election, then this may start to pay off big time for the Democrats.

Somehow?? he was an unmitigated disaster. I am absolutely glad he is gone. No, I don’t want a Dim, but sometimes we need to cut out our own cancer to move forward. Vitter was such a cancer. Glad he’s gone. Good riddance.

It’s really too bad he couldn’t keep it zipped.
Vitter was one of the few U.S. Senators on the citizens side in the fight against the illegal alien inundation.

Vitter should have had the deciency to just bow out of politics when he got caught with his pants down! When it comes to immorality, the GOP is as bad as the RATs. Republicans have to clean up their acts. We cannot have people with no morals for our leaders any longer.

Edwards is an ENEMY.

If he claims to be a Democrat then he buys all of their nauseating attitudes: Abortion, Queer “marriage”, mass illegal immigration, Open Borders, punitive taxes, Statism, the massive federal government, indifference to Muslim terrorism, contempt for Congress, it goes on and on.

The fact that he tries to portray himself on the other side of these issues means he’s lying. If he isn’t, then why is he in their party?

This guy wants to HURT the United States for his own gratification. He’s only interested in ONE thing: his own privilege.

That’s why he ran.

A West Point graduate and Airborne Ranger, Edwards is pro-gun, hawkish and touts his family’s deep religious faith and ties to the church.

He is Catholic. Edwards and his wife, the former Donna Hutto, have two daughters (Sarah Edwards and Samantha Edwards) and one son (John Miller Edwards). John Bel Edwards is a regular parishioner of Saint Helena Roman Catholic Church in Amite."
