Your words actually have me in tears. I think because so much has happened in such a short period of time, my head just can’t keep up with the onslaught of information and the many issues taking place. I too fear for our nation, deeply. It’s a horrible feeling to think it can all be lost.

I’m kinda surprised that all 3 links are lefty sites. I won’t discount the content, but I have an automatic distrust for CNN, Politico and the Daily.

I honestly do not understand that thinking, at all.

It requires more than just superficial thinking, but nothing really sophisticated. Just common sense and a willingness to consider context, that is all.

If you do not consider context you open yourself up to being manipulated by selective quotes, incomplete quotes, and quotes taken entirely out of context.

The press did just that to Donald Trump on this database of Muslims business, and I spoke out against it. You are doing the same thing to Ted Cruz. You ought to cease and desist, as you are perpetuating lies. It’s wrong no matter who is the victim.

I’m certainly aware of the media tricks. I asked an honest question and was fortunate to receive helpful feedback. It’s not me trying to feed into a false notion, rather, it was my seeking to learn the truth. Thanks

The GOPe anyone but Trump crowd moves to the flip flopper Ted Cruz, the stealth establishment candidate. And now Cruz is the favorite R candidate with the progressives too. Well that makes sense since Cruz would be easiest candidate for Hillary to beat in the general.

Don’t forget that “great consitutionalist” Ted Cruz also voted to reauthorize the unconstitutional Patriot Act, and he is so serious about border security that he handed out Teddy Bears and soccer balls to illegals as they illegally crossed our southern border. His flip flop on TPA after getting reamed on social media was epic. Oh and the Rats will eat him alive over his Canadian birth certificate. And yes he was for letting Syrian refugees into the USA before he was against it. And then there is his support for the 500% increase in H1B visas. What has Ted Cruz got against American workers? Oh wait, he flip flopped on that too. Do not trust Flip Flopping Ted. He is another proffesional politician that will say anything to get elected and once elected do the bidding of his billionaire Chamber of Commerce, Club for Growth donors.

"Cruz definitely has no money problems."

That is because the billionaire donors that own Cruz know he can be relied upon to deliver the goods if he is elected.

WHAT the heck are you smoking, Bro?

Why don't you just make a case for YOUR candidate, Trump, right?

Cruz would destroy Hillary! in a Nationally televised debate and the GOPe wants nothing to do with Cruz, he's a conservative maverick and they don't like that at all.

We have one chance to straighten this country out with the ballot box. One last chance and Ted Cruz is not the solution. Donald Trump is our last hope.

Only Donald Trump says he will enforce existing immigration law. I have not kept up with all of Cruzs' flip flops so maybe he is saying that now too. I read Rubio is now against legal status for illegals too. Yea right Rubio.

Every candidate except Trump has to do the bidding of their big donors. Only Trump is free to says what he thinks and act on his thoughts without worrying that the donor class will with hold donations.

Trump has been very successful in negotiating deals and then seeing to it that the deal gets done. Right now he is negotiating a "deal" with American voters. He can be trusted if elected to get the "deal" done. He is the only candidate (of merit) that comes from the private sector. All the rest are professional politicians. Well professional politicians got us into the mess we are in so I think it's about time to send them backing and give a successful private sector guy shot.

If we do not elect Trump this election the country as we know it is finished.

back in 2000 I tried to warn everyone about Bush. It's very frustrating to be able to see the future and yet not be listen too.

Hillary will eat Cruz alive.

Hillary will eat Cruz alive.

Not according to the latest Real Clear Politics poll released today.

Cruz would beat Hillary! by 5 points.

Look, we can agree to disagree, that's what FR is all about.

But, I would rather vote for a true conservative like Cruz than a celebrity like Trump.

Trump has a lot of great ideas and says things I like to hear but we need a Constitutionally adept candidate in the white house.

You seem like a good guy, so I will agree to disgree and keep it friendly. But I will leave you with this warning. Cruz is no where near as conservative as he pretends to be. Trump is certainly not a conservative icon, but at least he tells you what he is thinking. Cruz as his many flip flops show goes which ever way the political winds blow. Hence my lack of trust in Cruz. Re Hillary vrs Cruz I did this a while back but I still think it is accurate

A Cruz v Hillary election would be a very ugly election. Actually a Hillary vrs anyone will be ugly. You are going to have to go negative to beat Hillary. And she has a very long list of things to go negative on. But expect Hillary to hit back and hit back hard. She's smart, she quick and she can return fire with the best of them. Cruz might be able to beat her if he can paint her as the corrupt, incompetent phony she is.

But Cruz has a lot of negatives too. He is not viewed as a problem solver. He is viewed as a ideologue problem maker. He has zero appeal except to evangelical conservatives and a few constitutional conservatives. He comes across as an arrogant twit and has no friends and no backers in the US Senate. Where he is seen as a Senator playing politics to advance he own career. Another weakness that the Hillary will use in attacking Cruz is that his only claim to US citizenship is that his mother had a US passport. His dad was Canadian and he was born in Canada. She will say Cruz in not a Natural Born Citizen and a great many American will agree with her.

Normally the above would make Cruz unelectable but against Hillary anything is possible. Getting Cruz elected with all his negatives is not going to be an easy task. It would be a voters suppression election where the goal of both candidates was to suppress the turnout of the other. Neither candidate has any crossover appeal and the winner of such an election would not have a mandate to do anything. Hillary vs Cruz is a lose lose election for the USA.

Trump is not trustworthy. He is in it to feed his ego and nothing else. Cruz gets our primary vote. Only way Trump gets our vote is in the general and the choice is either him or the democrat.

No sale. Good luck peddling Trump though!

You’re thinking of Billionaires like the one you worship. (dishonest, devious)

The billionaire that supports Cruz does so because he loves this country.

Hard for someone like you to grasp, huh!

Much appreciated. There is so much conflicting information flying around, just trying to get to the heart of it so I can decide for myself. I’m not talented in baiting people, I much prefer to be upfront and direct.
