Nope, having to start depositing people in various cities next couple of days for the upcoming Thanksgiving Day holidaze. I will be back in time.
Just for your future information:
Lightning, power spikes, short-term power outages, sudden loss of power usually, and, I repeat, usually enter the computer through the dial-up modem or network card, not through the power cable. That usually zaps the card that allows internet access.
I am not trying to alarm you but your power outage may have damaged your network card.

Following "Satisfaction," their biggest hit to date and the biggest selling record of the year, the Stones came up with another one.
It was marketed under the name Wonder Who, but everybody knew it was the 4 Seasons doing a playful turn on Bob Dylan.
This band had debuted with a Bob Dylan tune in the summer, and now it turned to P. F. Sloan, whose songbook I covered years ago. With the success of "Eve of Destruction," Sloan was a hot property. Phil died this week at age 70 of pancreatic cancer, and his version of this song was the plaint of an abused child. Here is the bonus track. Sloan's unique guitar style is unmistakable. He was the one who wrote and recorded the famous guitar riff that opens "California Dreamin'."
The Turtles turned it into a general protest anthem.
The second wave of the British Invasion almost swamped the Jersey Boys. Their string of hits was interrupted by two failures, but the guys reacted by going pseudo-Motown. This was a massive hit. (Catch the Drake-Chennault jingle that starts the narrative.)
